Here is the weekly review of the top performing Bulgarian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international forward Roksana Yordanova (184-84, currently plays in Italy). Yordanova led San Salvatore to a victory over the 13th-ranked Biassono (1-10) 60-43 in the Italian A2 (12th division) last Saturday. She was MVP of the game. Yordanova recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting the same number of rebounds. Basket San Salvatore (5-6) is placed tenth in North group. Yordanova has relatively good stats this season: 14.3ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.1apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 47.1%, 3FGP: 31.3% and FT: 69.6%. She played for the Bulgarian senior national team one years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to former international forward Anna Rimpova (183-82, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A2 (12th division). Rimpova could not help Marghera (8-3) in their last game. Despite her very good performance the fifth-placed Marghera lost 59-65 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#12) Milano in the North group. Rimpova was the top scorer with 17 points. She also added 5 rebounds in 36 minutes. They ended the series of seven consecutive victories. This year Rimpova averages: 8.7ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 47.9%, 3FGP: 38.5% and FT: 76.9% in the 11 games she played so far. She played for the Bulgarian national team in 2007.

   #3. The Bulgarian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Vera Perostiyska (195-82, college: FIU, currently plays in Eurocup). Perostiyska contributed to a 2-point Union Hainaut's victory against the closely-ranked Gorizont (2-2) 60-58 in the Eurocup in Thursday night's game. She recorded 7 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group B. Union Saint-Amand Porte du Hainaut (5-1) is placed first. This season Perostiyska has relatively solid stats: 12.0ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.4apg, 2FGP: 52.9% and FT: 58.8%. She is also a member of the Bulgarian senior national team.

Guard Ekaterina Dimitrova (182-87, currently plays in France) was the major contributor in Charleville-Mezieres' victory against the closely-ranked Aix-en-Provence (5-7) 70-66 in the French LFB last Saturday. Dimitrova scored 11 points and added 4 passes in a mere 18 minutes. Flammes Carolo Basket Ardennes ASPTT (5-7) is placed tenth in the LFB. This year Dimitrova's overall stats are: 5.8ppg, 2.4rpg, 1.3apg and 1.8spg in the 12 games. She used to play for the Bulgarian national team last year.

An experienced former international forward Gergana Simeonov (186-79, currently plays in Italy) managed to help Lavezzini Parma to win against the closely-ranked Taranto (5-3) 58-52 in the Italian A1 on Sunday night. Simeonov scored 5 points. Lavezzini Parma (6-2) is placed third in the A1. Simeonov's total stats this season are: 7.4ppg and 5.0rpg. She used to play for the Bulgarian national team three years ago.

Forward Evelina Guneva (183-80, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Spain) contributed to Gernika's victory against the 14th-ranked Casablanca (3-8) 67-63 in the Spanish LF2 (12th division) in Saturday night's game. Guneva scored 11 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 33 minutes. Gernika KESB (3-5) is placed ninth in Group B. It's Guneva's first season with the team. She has reliable stats this year: 12.3ppg, 7.5rpg and 1.3apg in the eight games. Guneva is a former international player as she played for the Bulgarian senior team six years ago.

International forward Radoslava Bachvarova (183-87, agency: LBM Management, college: VCU, currently plays in France) was not able to help Arras (2-10) in their game against Nantes Reze (7-5) in the French LFB. She scored 8 points and had 3 steals. Arras was defeated 68-57 in Nantes by the much higher-ranked Reze (#6). It was Arras' sixth consecutive loss in a row. Bachvarova's total stats this season are: 7.3ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.2spg. She is also Bulgarian national team player.

   #8. Center Stefka Miteva (190-89, currently plays in Belgium) was not able to secure a victory for Blue Cats (2-9) in their game against Point Chaud (7-4) in the Belgian Division I. Miteva scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in only 11 minutes. Blue Cats was badly defeated 82-64 in Sprimont by the higher-ranked (#5) Point Chaud. Miteva is ranked third on the list of the best blockers in the league with 1.2bpg. This year her other stats are: 8.4ppg and 7.7rpg in the 11 games. Miteva plays currently for the Bulgarian national team.

   #1. Viktoria Mircheva (190-C-87, currently plays in Eurocup) led her French team Nantes Reze to a victory over the closely-ranked Olimpia GrGAU (3-3) 77-59 in the Eurocup in Thursday night's game. She was MVP of the game. Mircheva recorded 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in 23 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group D. Nantes Reze Basket (5-1) is placed second. Mircheva has relatively good stats this year: 13.3ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.4apg in the seven games she played so far. She has a dual citizenship: Ukrainian and Bulgarian.

Montana 2003 - Haskovo 2012 69-74 Haskovo 2012 overcame Montana 2003 on the road to level the championship series at 2-2. The decisive fifth game is schedule for Sunday. Montana 2003 was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 20-11 charge of Haskovo 2012, which allowed them to win the game. Cherno More Odessos (U 19) won U19 title in Bulgaria. The team demolished Levski 73-45 in the Final game. Cherno More Odessos (U 19) posted an early 24-11 surge in the opening period and then added 20-10 run in the second frame. Moreover Cherno More won both quarters in the second half for the final success. Yanina Todorova (173-F-99) top-scred for the winners with 24 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Montana 2003 - Haskovo 2012 78-76 Montana 2003 held off Haskovo 2012 to take 2-1 lead in the championship series. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Dimana Makarieva-Georgieva (188-88) who scored 20 points.
