Here is the weekly review of the top performing Bulgarian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is former international forward Anna Rimpova (183-82, currently plays in Italy). Rimpova led Marghera to a victory over the tenth-ranked San Salvatore (5-7) 72-66 in the Italian A2 (12th division) last Saturday. She was MVP of the game. Rimpova scored 22 points and grabbed 8 rebounds (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line). Sernavimar Marghera (9-3) is placed fifth in North group. This season Rimpova averages: 9.8ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 49.0%, 3FGP: 41.2% and FT: 81.3%. She played for the Bulgarian senior national team five years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to an experienced former international forward Gergana Simeonov (186-79, currently plays in Italy). Simeonov contributed to a 3-point Parma's victory against the closely-ranked Umbertide (5-3) 64-61 in the Italian A1 on Sunday night. She recorded 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 30 minutes. Lavezzini Parma (7-2) is placed third in the A1. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Simeonov's overall stats are: 7.3ppg, 4.9rpg, 2FGP: 41.2%, 3FGP: 26.1% and FT: 66.7% in the nine games she played so far. She played for the Bulgarian national team in 2009.

   #3. The Bulgarian player who performed third best last week abroad was former U20 international guard Gergana Georgieva (180-87, currently plays in Germany). Georgieva contributed to an ASC Theresianum Mainz's victory against the eighth-ranked TG Neuss (4-7) 68-58 in the German 2.Bundesliga (12th division) in Saturday night's game. She scored 9 points, grabbed 18 rebounds and dished 3 assists. ASC Theresianum Mainz (2-1) is placed third in North group. It's Georgieva's sixth season with the team. Georgieva has relatively good stats this year: 14.4ppg, 9.6rpg, 1.6apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 53.8% and FT: 66.7%. She played for the Bulgarian U20 national team five years ago.

   #4. Guard Ekaterina Dimitrova (182-87, currently plays in France) contributed to Charleville-Mezieres' victory against the closely-ranked Nantes Reze (7-6) 84-71 in the French LFB last Sunday. Dimitrova recorded 6 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists in 23 minutes. Flammes Carolo Basket Ardennes ASPTT (6-7) is placed tenth in the LFB. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Dimitrova's total stats are: 5.8ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.6apg and 1.8spg in the 13 games. She used to play for the Bulgarian national team last year.

International forward Radoslava Bachvarova (183-87, agency: LBM Management, college: VCU, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in France could not help the league outsider Arras (0-7) to beat MKB Euroleasing (2-5). Bachvarova scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. The seventh-placed Arras was badly defeated 74-55 at home by the higher-ranked MKB Euroleasing (#6) in the group B of Euroleague. So far Arras lost all seven games in the Regular Season. It's Bachvarova's first season with the team. She has averaged so far 7.0ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.3apg. Bachvarova plays currently for the Bulgarian national team.

Center Aleksandra Delcheva (202-87, agency: Promotex, currently plays in Czech Republic) was not able to help DSK Karlin (3-12) in their game against Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary (6-9) in the Czech Republic ZBL. She scored 9 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 22 minutes. But DSK Karlin was badly defeated 75-59 on the road by the higher-ranked (#8) Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary. Delcheva has averaged so far 3.5ppg and 3.1rpg in the 15 games. She is an international player who is currently on the senior Bulgarian National Team roster.

   #7. International forward Roksana Yordanova (184-84, currently plays in Italy) faced previously mentioned Anna Rimpova in the Italian A2 last game. Yordanova was not able to secure a victory for San Salvatore (5-7) in their game against Marghera (9-3). She scored 5 points and added 3 passes in 40 minutes. San Salvatore (#10) lost 66-72 in Venezia to the higher-ranked (#5) Marghera in the North group. This year Yordanova has relatively solid stats: 13.5ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.3apg and 1.1spg in the 12 games. She used to play for the Bulgarian national team last year.

Forward Evelina Guneva (183-80, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a 3-point Gernika's victory against the eighth-ranked Las Gaunas (4-5) 54-51 in the Spanish LF2 (12th division) in Saturday night's game. Guneva scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Gernika KESB (4-5) is placed seventh in Group B. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. Guneva has reliable stats this season: 11.6ppg, 7.1rpg and 1.1apg. She used to play for the Bulgarian national team back in 2006.

   #9. International center Stefka Miteva (190-89, currently plays in Belgium) couldn't help Blue Cats (2-10) in their game against Jeugd Gentson (3-9) in the Belgian Division I. Miteva scored 6 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 22 minutes. Blue Cats lost 61-71 in Gent to the higher-ranked (#9) Jeugd son. Miteva belongs to league's best rebounders (ranked #6) and also on the list of best blockers (third place). She has averaged so far 8.2ppg, 7.7rpg and 1.1bpg in the 12 games. Miteva is also in the roster of the Bulgarian national team.

The list of other players, who all have Bulgarian passport but never been selected to any of Bulgarian national teams:

   #1. Viktoria Mircheva (190-C-87, currently plays in Eurocup), who plays in France could not help Nantes Reze (5-1) to beat Olimpia GrGAU (3-3). She scored 8 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 20 minutes. The second-placed Nantes Reze lost 62-67 on the road to the second-ranked Olimpia GrGAU in the group D of Eurocup. It's Mircheva's first season with the team. Mircheva has relatively good stats this year: 12.6ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.6apg in the eight games she played so far. She has a dual citizenship: Ukrainian and Bulgarian.

   #2. Dimana Georgieva (190-C-88, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Cagliari CUS (1-8) crushing them 83-55 in the Italian A1 last Thursday. Georgieva recorded 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Trogylos Priolo (2-7) is placed ninth in the A1. Georgieva has averaged so far 2.4ppg and 2.1rpg.

   #3. Ana Petrova (170-F-82, currently plays in Luxembourg) contributed to Etzella's victory against one of league's weakest teams Basket Esch (2-9) 69-64 in the Luxembourg Diekirch League on Sunday night. She scored 10 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Etzella Ettelbruck (9-2) is placed second in the Diekirch League. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Petrova has averaged so far 8.4ppg, 3.2rpg, 2.4apg and 2.1spg. She is another player who holds two passports: Bulgarian and Luxembourg.

American Chelsey Lee (193-C-89, agency: LBM Management) had a great game in the last round for league's leader Haskovo 2012 and that's her to receive a Player of the Week award for round 9. The 27-year old center had a double-double of 24 points and ten rebounds, while her team outclassed Neftochimic (#4, 3-4) with 40-point margin 91-51. This week's number one is U20 international point guard Iva Georgieva (170-96, college: Salt Lake CC, currently plays in Italy). The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Haskovo 2012 as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Haskovo 2012 smashed 4th placed Neftochimic at home 91-51. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Neftochimic. Haskovo 2012 dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Neftochimic's 30.
