We bring you last week's top performances from Bulgarians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Ibrahim Jaaber
Ibrahim Jaaber
#1. This week's number one is former international point guard Ibrahim Jaaber (187-84, college: Pennsylvania, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Lithuania. Jaaber could not help Zalgiris (0-1) to beat Panathinaikos (1-0). He recorded 8 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. The fifth-placed Zalgiris was edged 67-66 on the road by the leading Panathinaikos in the group E of Euroleague. Jaaber belongs to league's most steals and is ranked #2. This season he averages: 6.7ppg, 2.3rpg, 2.4apg, 2.1spg, 2FGP: 53.8%, 3FGP: 36.0% and FT: 66.7%. Jaaber is a naturalized American. He played for the Bulgarian senior national team four years ago. Strangely Jaaber has never played in Bulgaria.

Earl Rowland
Earl Rowland
#2. Second place goes to former international guard Earl Rowland (188-83, college: St.Mary's, CA, currently plays in Latvia). He contributed to a VEF Riga's victory against the seventh-ranked Barons kvartals (7-7) 84-72 in a derby game in the Latvian LBL on Saturday night. Rowland recorded 10 points and added 9 assists in 29 minutes. VEF Riga (9-1) is placed third in the LBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. Rowland has relatively good stats this year: 13.6ppg, 4.0rpg, 7.1apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 48.4%, 3FGP: 47.4%(9-19) and FT: 74.1% in the eight games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Rowland played for the Bulgarian national team in 2011. Apparently he has never played in Bulgaria.

Earl Calloway
Earl Calloway
#3. The Bulgarian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international guard Earl Calloway (191-83, college: Indiana, currently plays in Euroleague). Calloway helped his Spanish team Unicaja Malaga win their game against the seventh-ranked Brose Baskets Bamberg (0-1) 85-82 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. He recorded 6 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Unicaja Malaga (1-0) is placed third in group E. This season Calloway has relatively solid stats: 10.1ppg, 2.4rpg, 2.3apg, 2FGP: 55.9%(19-34), 3FGP: 54.1%(20-37) and FT: 72.2%. He is a naturalized American. Ivanov also added 3 assists and 5 steals in 39 minutes. It was Air Avellino's fourth consecutive loss in a row. Ivanov has reliable stats this year: 11.5ppg, 9.0rpg, 1.5apg and 3.0spg in the two games. He used to play for the Bulgarian national team back in 2011.

Jared Homan

Homan scored 11 points, had 4 rebounds and made 2 blocks. FC Bayern Muenchen (10-6) is placed sixth in the BBL. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. International power forward Cedric Simmons (206-86, college: N.Carolina St., currently plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for Enel Brindisi (7-6) in their game against Lottomatica Roma (8-5) in the Italian SerieA. Simmons cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. He recorded only 2 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks. Enel Brindisi was defeated 86-82 at home by the higher-ranked Lottomatica Roma (#5). They ended the series of three consecutive victories. Simmons belongs to league's best blockers and is ranked #3. His total stats this season are: 6.4ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.5bpg.
