Earl Rowland
Earl Rowland
#1. This week's number one is former international guard Earl Rowland (188-83, college: St.Mary's, CA, currently plays in Eurocup), who plays in Latvia. He could not help VEF Riga (0-1) in their last game. Despite Rowland's very good performance the fourth-placed VEF Riga lost 82-86 on the road to the second-ranked Valencia Basket in the group J of Eurocup. He was the top scorer with 21 points. Rowland also added 5 rebounds and 9 assists in 30 minutes on the court. Rowland has relatively good stats this year: 13.1ppg, 4.0rpg, 5.3apg, 2FGP: 53.8%, 3FGP: 31.8% and FT: 83.3% in the seven games he played so far. He is a naturalized American.
