Olin Edirne Basketball (TBL) landed 33-year old Bulgarian ex-international small forward Filip Videnov (196-97kg-80, college: W.Kentucky, agency: Alti Sport). Its actually his comeback to Edirne as he played here before. Videnov played recently at N.Novgorod in Russian PBL league. In 6 games this season he averaged 5.5ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.3apg. Videnov also played 9 games in VTB United League where he had 5.2ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.6apg. The last season he played at Olin Edirne. In 23 TBL games last year he had 14.0ppg, 3.4rpg and 3.1apg. Videnov also played 2 games in EuroChallenge where he had very impressive stats: 17.5ppg, 2.0rpg, 2.5apg and 2.0spg.
The previous (10-11) season he played at Asseco Prokom Gdynia in Polish TBL. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and Videnov had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 33 TBL games that season he had 10.4ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.9apg and 1.2spg. He helped them to win the league title. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Polish League Honorable Mention and All-Bosmans Team. Videnov also played 10 games in Euroleague where he had 7.8ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.2apg. He also played 8 games in VTB United League where he had 10.1ppg, 2.5rpg and 1.3apg.
Videnov was also a member of Bulgarian international program for some years. He played for Bulgarian Senior National Team between 2002 and 2012 and previouslyfor University National Team in 2001. Videnov also represented Bulgaria at the Qualifications to European Championships 2013 last year. His stats at that event were 8 games: 8.4ppg, 4.3rpg, 4.1apg, FGP: 44.4%, 3PT: 32.4%, FT: 83.3%.
Videnov is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Croatia, France, Italy (Napoli J.News), Serbia (Zvezda), Spain (CB Granada, Cajasol and Herbalife Gran Canaria 2014) and Bulgaria (Rousse).
Videnov attended Western Kentucky University until 2003 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.

Talented Nikolay Nikolov (201-SF-97) had an amazing evening in the last round for UE Varna and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Division A Player of the Week award for round 1. The 20-year old had the game-high 26 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for UE Varna in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Shumen (#5, 0-1) with 31-point margin 98-67. Division A Round 1 of Regular Season - 4 days ago
The Regular Season in Division A just started. The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results. The biggest surprise of round 1 in Division A took place in Troyan where host Chavdar (1-0) beat Beroe-2 (0-1) 97-84 on Sunday evening. Chavdar made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Forward Lubomir Lilov (200-87) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds for the winners.
