We bring you last week's top performances from Bulgarians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Earl Rowland
Earl Rowland
#1. This week's number one is former international guard Earl Rowland (188-83, college: St.Mary's, CA, currently plays in Eurocup). He led his Latvian team VEF Riga to a victory over the fourth-ranked Gescrap BB (0-2) crushing them 99-76 in the Eurocup in Tuesday night's game. Rowland was MVP of the game. He scored 30 points (!!!) and had 3 steals in 28 minutes on the court. VEF Riga (1-1) is placed second in group J. There are only four games left until the end of the Eurocup Top 16. So now every game will be critical. It's Rowland's first season with the team. Rowland has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.3ppg, 3.9rpg, 4.8apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 57.1%(36-63), 3FGP: 40.7% and FT: 70.8% in the eight games he played so far. Rowland is a naturalized American. He played for the Bulgarian senior national team two years ago. Strangely Rowland has never played in Bulgaria.
