Host teams show no mercy winning all games.

The most exciting game of round 19 in the NBL took place in Haskovo. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of much higher ranked Dunav 8806 (12-4) to fourth ranked Haskovo 2012 (8-8) 59-57 on Saturday evening. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 59-57. Haskovo 2012 made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Latvian center Anita Teilane (196-85) fired 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Bosnian guard Amra Mehmedic (177-81) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American forward Amanda Johnson (187-90, college: Oregon, agency: LBM Management) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Haskovo 2012 have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Haskovo 2012 maintains fourth place with 8-8 record. Defending champion Dunav 8806 keeps the second position with four games lost. Haskovo 2012 are looking forward to face Montana 2003 (#5) on the road in the next round. Dunav 8806 will play against Beroe in Stara Zagora and is hoping to win this game.

Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Charel Allen (181-86, college: Notre Dame) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds. Vera Perostiyska contributed with 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Milena Tomova (189-82, college: FIU) answered with 25 points and 8 rebounds for Montana 2003. Levski maintains third place with 9-8 record having six points less than leader Neftochimic. Montana 2003 lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with ten games lost. Levski will play against league's leader Neftochimic in Burgas in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Montana 2003 will play at home against Haskovo 2012 (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

CS Municipal Satu Mare (Liga I) agreed terms with 27-year old American forward Chastity Reed (185-89, college: UALR). She played last season at Beroe in Bulgarian NBL league. Reed managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In 11 NBL games she had 9.5ppg, 6.3rpg, 2.0apg and 1.0spg. She helped them to make it to the cup final. Haskovo 2012 (NBL) landed 31-year old American swingman Amber Holt (183-77kg-85, college: Middle Tennessee State). The last time (14) she played at Atenienses in Puerto Rican BSNF In 2008 Holt was drafted by Connecticut Sun (WNBA) in first round (9th overall). Chelsey Lee agreed terms with Haskovo 2012 - 1 month ago

Haskovo 2012 (NBL) inked 27-year old American center Chelsey Lee (193-89, college: Rutgers). She played in the summer at Washington Mystics (WNBA). The last season Lee played at Hanabank in South Korean WKBL where in 41 games she recorded 14.9ppg, 10.5rpg (leader !!!), 1.1spg and 1.1bpg. She played in the final of WKBL.
