Here is the weekly review of the top performing Bulgarian players, who play currently abroad.

Cedric Simmons
Cedric Simmons
#1. This week's number one is an international power forward Cedric Simmons (206-86, college: N.Carolina St., currently plays in Italy). Simmons led Enel Brindisi to a victory against the third-ranked Montepaschi Siena (12-5) 94-84 in the Italian SerieA last Monday. He recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 10 rebounds. Enel Brindisi (9-8) is placed eighth in the SerieA. Simmons belongs to league's best blockers and is ranked #5. This season he averages: 7.5ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.4bpg, 2FGP: 57.0%(53-93) and FT: 73.3%. Simmons is a naturalized American. He is currently a member of the Bulgarian senior national team. Strangely Simmons has never played in Bulgaria.

Earl Rowland
Earl Rowland
#2. Second place goes to former international guard Earl Rowland (188-83, college: St.Mary's, CA, currently plays in Eurocup). He contributed to a VEF Riga's victory against the closely-ranked CEZ Nymburk (1-2) 85-80 in the Eurocup on Wednesday night. Rowland scored 8 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 32 minutes. VEF Riga (2-1) is placed second in group J. There are only three games left until the end of the Eurocup Top 16. So now every game will be critical. Rowland has relatively good stats this year: 14.4ppg, 4.1rpg, 4.8apg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 51.4%, 3FGP: 41.9% and FT: 73.1% in the nine games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Rowland played for the Bulgarian national team in 2011. Apparently he has never played in Bulgaria.
