Undefeated Spartak MVR (7-1) recorded its first loss in Sofia on Sunday night. Hosts were rolled over by second ranked UE Varna (6-2) 87-64. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Spartak MVR. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Newly promoted UE Varna maintains second position with 6-2 record behind leader Spartak MVR, which they share with Academik BL. Spartak MVR at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still keeps top place with one game lost. UE Varna is looking forward to face Chavdar (#7) in Troyan in the next round where they are favorite. Spartak MVR will play on the road against Thrace Univ. (#4) in Stara Zagora and is hoping to win this game.

Academic Blagoevgrad moved-up to second place, which they share with UE Varna. Vidabasket lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with seven games lost. Academic Blagoevgrad will meet Academik Plovdiv (#5) on the road in the next round. Vidabasket will play against Dunav 2007 in Ruse and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
