The last season Haritopoulos played at ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (ProA) in French league. In 14 games last year he had 7.4ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.1apg. He also played 3 games in Eurocup where he had 5.3ppg and 4.7rpg. Haritopoulos also played at Marousi BC (A1, starting five) in Greek league earlier that season. Among other achievements his team made it to the ULEB Cup final in 2006. Haritopoulos was selected to Greek U23 All-Star Game back in 2005.
He was also a member of Greek international program for some years. Haritopoulos played for Greek Senior National Team back in 2005 and previously for U20 National Team in 2002. He represented Greece at the Mediterranean Games eight years ago.
Haritopoulos has played also professionally for other Greek teams like Aris, Panionios and Trikalla.
His game is described as: A true fighter with experience at Europe highest level. Thanks to a strong body and excellent 3pt shooting percentage, he can easily play the 4 and the 5 positions as well. Great moves with his back to the basket. Really efficient defensively, ha understands basketball well this makes him really coachable.
