Daniela Georgieva
Daniela Georgieva
#1. This week's number one is an international swingman Daniela Georgieva (184-86, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A2 (12th division). She could not help Marghera (11-9) in their last game. Despite Georgieva's very good performance the sixth-placed Marghera was edged 70-69 at home by the lower-ranked (#12) Virtus Cagliari in the North group. She was the top scorer with 23 points. Georgieva also added 7 boards, dished 4 assists and stole 3 balls in 36 minutes on the court. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Georgieva has individually a very good year with high stats. She averages: 17.0ppg, 5.5rpg, 4.5apg, 3.5spg, 3FGP: 18.2% and FT: 63.6% in the two games she played so far.
