We bring you last week's top performances from Bulgarians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Earl Rowland
Earl Rowland
#1. This week's number one is former international guard Earl Rowland (188-83, college: St.Mary's, CA, currently plays in Eurocup), who plays in Latvia. He could not help VEF Riga (3-2) in their last game. Despite Rowland's very good performance the first-placed VEF Riga lost in an overtime 96-103 at home to the second-ranked Valencia Basket in the group J of Eurocup. He was the top scorer with 29 points. Rowland also added 6 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 38 minutes on the court. It was VEF Riga's first loss after three consecutive victories. His team will play only one more game in the Eurocup Top 16. And that game will be critical. Rowland has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.8ppg, 4.4rpg, 4.7apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 53.6%, 3FGP: 42.2% and FT: 73.0% in the 11 games he played so far. Rowland is a naturalized American. He played for the Bulgarian senior national team two years ago. Strangely Rowland has never played in Bulgaria.

Dejan Ivanov

#2. Second place goes to former international power forward Dejan Ivanov (205-86, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in VTB United League), who plays in Lithuania. Despite his good performance Lietuvos rytas (#6) lost 78-86 on the road to the lower-ranked (#8) PGE Turow in the group A of VTB United League. Ivanov was the top scorer with 14 points. He also added 9 rebounds in 29 minutes. They ended the series of three consecutive victories. There are only three games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This year Ivanov's overall stats are: 9.1ppg, 6.3rpg, 2FGP: 63.5%(40-63), 3FGP: 14.3% and FT: 66.0% in the 13 games.
