The game between third ranked Academic Blagoevgrad (7-4) and fourth ranked Thrace Univ. (8-3) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Academic Blagoevgrad was defeated by Thrace Univ. in a tough game in Stara Zagora 61-70. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Thrace Univ. have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with UE Varna. Academic Blagoevgrad at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. Thrace Univ. is looking forward to face Academik Plovdiv (#5) on the road in the next round. Academic Blagoevgrad will play against Dunav 2007 in Ruse and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Leader Spartak MVR delivered the ninth win. This time they crushed 8th ranked Vidabasket (1-10) 91-66 in Sofia. Newly promoted Spartak MVR maintains first place with 9-2 record. Vidabasket lost their ninth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Spartak MVR will play against Chavdar (#7) in Troyan in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Vidabasket will play at home against the league's second-placed UE Varna to get more than just one victory in their record.

In the last game of round 11 Academik PL was crushed by UE Varna in a road game 94-75.


Thrace Univ. - Academik BL 70-61

There was no surprise when 5th ranked Academik Plovdiv (5-6) was crushed on the road by second ranked UE Varna (8-3) 94-75. Newly promoted UE Varna maintains second place with 8-3 record behind leader Spartak MVR, which they share with Thrace Univ. Academik Plovdiv at the other side keeps the fifth position with six games lost. UE Varna will play against bottom-ranked Vidabasket (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Academik Plovdiv will play against Thrace Univ. in Stara Zagora and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
