We bring you last week's top performances from Bulgarians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Doneeka Hodges-Lewis
Doneeka Hodges-Lewis
#1. This week's number one is former international point guard Doneeka Hodges-Lewis (175-82, agency: LBM Management, college: LSU, currently plays in Turkey). She led Canik Bld to a victory over the league outsider Edremit (1-19) crushing them 76-49 in the Turkish TKBL in Sunday night's game. Hodges-Lewis was MVP of the game. She scored 19 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 37 minutes on the court. Canik Belediyesi (8-12) is placed tenth in the TKBL. It's Hodges-Lewis' first season with the team. Hodges-Lewis is currently ninth on the list of top scorers with 15.6ppg. She also averaged so far 3.4rpg, 3.6apg, 1.6spg, 2FGP: 42.8%, 3FGP: 40.9% and FT: 75.0% in the 17 games she played so far. Hodges-Lewis is a naturalized American. She played for the Bulgarian senior national team two years ago. Strangely Hodges-Lewis has never played in Bulgaria.

Despite her good performance the ninth-placed San Salvatore was badly defeated 88-68 on the road by the higher-ranked (#4) TEC-MAR Crema in the North group. Yordanova had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting the same number of rebounds in 40 minutes. It was San Salvatore's third consecutive loss in a row. The Regular Season already ended.
