An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Samokov. Third ranked Rilski Sportist faced 4th placed Balkan. Host Rilski Sportist (14-5) defeated guests from Botevgrad (12-7) 70-66. American forward Braxton Dupree (203-89, college: Towson, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) fired 17 points for the winners. Serbian guard Branko Mirkovic (190-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international guard Jordan Bozov (191-79, agency: Global Sports Plaza) produced 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. Rilski Sportist have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 14-5 record having just three points less than leader Lukoil Academik. Balkan at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Rilski Sportist are looking forward to face league's leader Lukoil Academik in Sofia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Balkan will play on the road against the league's second-placed Levski Sofia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Leader Lukoil Academik delivered the seventeenth victory. This time they crushed 9th ranked Spartak Pleven (4-15) 93-70. Worth to mention a great performance of Greek power forward Dimitris Haritopoulos (205-83, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds. Thomas Massamba contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Lukoil Academik's coach Sasho Vezenkov felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Aleksandar Dyakovski (185-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza) answered with 25 points and 5 rebounds for Spartak Pleven. Lukoil Academik (17-2) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place. Spartak Pleven lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 15 games lost. Lukoil Academik will play against Rilski Sportist (#3) in Samokov in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Spartak Pleven will play at home against U20 (#10) in Sofia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

It was a great evening for Nemanja Milosevic who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side Aleks Simeonov responded with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tundja Yambol maintains fifth place with 11-8 record. U20 lost their nineteenth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings. Tundja Yambol will meet at home Chernomorets (#8) in the next round. U20 will play against Spartak Pleven and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last two games of round 19 Beroe was defeated by Levski Sofia in a road game 91-83. Cherno More beat Chernomorets at home 86-81.
The best stats of 19th round was 28 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals by Will Walker of Beroe.

Lukoil Academik dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak Pleven's 30. Lukoil Academik players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Greek power forward Dimitris Haritopoulos (205-83, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds. There was no surprise when 6th ranked Beroe (7-12) was defeated on the road by second ranked Levski Sofia (16-3) 91-83 on Saturday. Beroe trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 26-22 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 83-91 at the end of the game. Levski Sofia dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Beroe's 26. It was a great shooting night for Levski Sofia especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for Serbian point guard Marko Marinovic (183-83) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 assists. International Pavel Ivanov (200-88) helped adding 17 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Levski Sofia players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Will Walker (183-87, college: De Paul) responded with 28 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals (perfect behind the arc making all six shots !!!) and the other American import guard Reginald Holmes (193-87, college: Morgan St.) scored 20 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Levski Sofia. They maintain second place with 16-3 record behind leader Lukoil Academik. Newly promoted Beroe dropped to the seventh position with 12 games lost.
