There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Division A.

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Stara Zagora. Second ranked UE Varna faced 4th placed Thrace Univ.. Guests from Varna (10-3) defeated host Thrace Univ. (8-5) 77-72. UE Varna have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted UE Varna maintains second place with 10-3 record behind leader Spartak MVR. Thrace Univ. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the third position with five games lost. They share it with Academik BL. UE Varna are looking forward to face Dunav 2007 (#6) in Ruse in the next round. Thrace Univ. will play on the road against Vidabasket and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.

Academic Blagoevgrad at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. They share it with Thrace Univ.. Spartak MVR will play against Academik Plovdiv (#5) on the road in the next round. Academic Blagoevgrad will play against Chavdar in Troyan and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Academik Plovdiv will meet at home league's leader Spartak MVR in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. In the last game of round 13 bottom-ranked Vidabasket was defeated by Chavdar in Troyan 93-78.


Dunav 2007 - Academik PL 86-102

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 8th ranked Vidabasket's (1-12) road loss to seventh ranked Chavdar (3-9) 78-93 on Sunday. Chavdar moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Dunav 2007. Vidabasket lost eleventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Chavdar will meet higher ranked Academic Blagoevgrad (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vidabasket will play against Thrace Univ. (#4) in Stara Zagora.

Talented Nikolay Nikolov (201-SF-97) had an amazing evening in the last round for UE Varna and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Division A Player of the Week award for round 1. The 20-year old had the game-high 26 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for UE Varna in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Shumen (#5, 0-1) with 31-point margin 98-67. The Regular Season in Division A just started. The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results. The biggest surprise of round 1 in Division A took place in Troyan where host Chavdar (1-0) beat Beroe-2 (0-1) 97-84 on Sunday evening.
