Waltiea
Rolle
Bahamas Center Waltiea Rolle (198-C-90) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Haskovo 2012, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 16 points and 17 rebounds, while her team edged out Montana 2003 (#2, 6-3) 76-72. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Haskovo 2012 to consolidate first place in the Bulgarian NBL. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Haskovo 2012 has a very solid 7-2 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Rolle turned to be Haskovo 2012's top player in her first season with the team. Former University of North Carolina star has very solid stats this year. Rolle is in league's top in points (5th best: 17.0ppg) and averages impressive 1.5bpg and 51.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 28-year old former international swingman Maria Tsankova (180-F/G-88, agency: Interperformances) of Neftochimic. Tsankova had a very good evening with 20 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course she led Neftochimic to another comfortable win outscoring Septemvri (#5, 0-9) 102-57. Neftochimic's 4th position in the standings has not changed. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-5 record. Tsankova is a newcomer at Neftochimic and despite she is not a team leader yet, every game she becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Neftochimic's star - American guard Ashley Prim (170-G-91, agency: Gamble Sports Management). Prim showcased her all-around game by recording 12 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in the last round. She was another key player of Neftochimic, helping her team with a 102-57 easy win against Septemvri (#5, 0-9). The chances of Neftochimic ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 5 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Prim could help Neftochimic to bring them higher in the standings. Prim has a very solid season. In 3 games in Bulgaria she scored 8.7ppg. Prim attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on her way to pro basketball.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Tina Trebec (190-C-90) of Neftochimic - 19 points and 11 rebounds
5. Chelsey Lee (193-C-89) of Haskovo 2012 - 20 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Teodora Dineva (178-G/F-96) of Neftochimic - 19 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Tsvetomira Sharenkapova (184-F-91) of Montana 2003 - 16 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Gabriela Kostova (190-C-94) of Neftochimic - 10 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Viktoria Stoycheva (165-PG-92) of Montana 2003 - 17 points and 4 rebounds
10. Koprina Rashova (180-SF-93) of Septemvri - 12 points and 8 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
