There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Second Stage in Division A.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of UE Varna (1-1) on the court of Akademik Sofia on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Akademik Sofia 83-80. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 30-18 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Akademik Sofia are looking forward to face Rilski 2 (#5) in Samokov in the next round. UE Varna will play at home against Vidabasket and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Very important is a road loss of Rilski 2 (1-1) against Levski 2014-2 (1-1) on Sunday night. Visiting Rilski 2 was crushed by Levski 2014-2 in Sofia 91-60. Levski 2014-2 will play against Chavdar (#4) in Troyan in the next round. Rilski 2 will play at home against Akademik Sofia to get more than just one victory in their record.

Rest of the games of round 2 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
In A winless Vidabasket was crushed by Chavdar in Troyan 90-62. Cherno More 2 beat Dolphin at home 87-69. Bottom-ranked Shumen destroyed Akademik Varna on the opponent's court 78-59. Dunav 2016 managed to outperform CSKA in a home game 65-58.

Chavdar - Vidabasket 90-62

Chavdar used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Vidin 90-62. The game was mostly controlled by Chavdar. Vidabasket was better in third quarter 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Chavdar will play against Levski 2014-2 in Sofia in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Vidabasket will play on the road against UE Varna (#3) to get more than just one victory in their record.

Cherno More 2 - Dolphin 87-69

No shocking result in a game in Varna where Cherno More 2 (2-0) defeated Dolphin (0-2) 87-69. The hosts were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 36-17 run, which allowed them to win the game. Cherno More 2's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Varna Akademik Varna.

Akademik Varna - Shumen 59-78

There was a minor upset when Akademik Varna (1-1) was rolled over at home by Shumen (1-1) 78-59. The game was mostly controlled by Shumen. Akademik Varna was better in third quarter 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Shumen will play against CSKA (#11) in the next round. Akademik Varna's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Varna to the arena Cherno More 2.

Dunav 2016 - CSKA 65-58

Rather predictable result in Ruse where Dunav 2016 (2-0) beat CSKA (0-2) 65-58. It looked good early as CSKA took a 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Dunav 2016 took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 7 points. Dunav 2016 will play against Dolphin (#12) on the road in the next round. CSKA will play against Shumen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
