An exciting game was played in Stara Zagora. Third ranked Beroe faced 4th ranked Neftochimic. Host Beroe (6-3) defeated guests from Burgas (4-6) 73-56. Beroe dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Neftochimic's 30. They outrebounded Neftochimic 41-23 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American-Trinidad and Tobago forward Kellindra Zackery (184-88, college: Newman) who scored 19 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. American center Cierra Robertson-Warren (193-91, college: San Diego St., agency: Two Points) chipped in 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. Beroe's coach Tatyana Gateva used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Teodora Dineva (178-96) who recorded 16 points and 8 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Beroe have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Montana 2003. Neftochimic at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. Beroe is looking forward to face league's leader Haskovo 2012 on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Neftochimic will have a break next round.

Guard Ivona Ilieva (176-98) replied with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for Septemvri. Septemvri's coach Aleksandar Apostolov gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Haskovo 2012 have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-2 record. Septemvri at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Haskovo 2012 will play against Beroe (#3) in Stara Zagora in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Septemvri will play on the road against the league's second-placed Montana 2003 and hopes to get finally their first victory.
