The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Sofia: Akademik Sofia (#1) and Levski 2014-2 (#3). Akademik Sofia (4-0) won against visiting Levski 2014-2 (2-2) 90-80. The game was mostly controlled by Akademik Sofia. Levski 2014-2 managed to win third quarter 29-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Akademik Sofia maintains first position in A with 4-0 record. Levski 2014-2 at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. Akademik Sofia are looking forward to face Chavdar (#5) in Troyan in the next round. Levski 2014-2 will play at home against Vidabasket and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Dolphin (1-3) was crushed on the road by eighth ranked Shumen (3-1) 97-72 on Sunday. The game without a history. Shumen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Shumen maintains eighth position in A with 3-1 record. Loser Dolphin keeps the eleventh place with three games lost. Shumen will meet higher ranked Cherno More 2 (#7) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Dolphin will play against CSKA (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Dunav 2016 - Cherno More 2 76-100

No shocking result in a game in Ruse where top-ranked Cherno More 2 (4-0) smashed 9th ranked Dunav 2016 (2-2) 100-76 on Sunday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Cherno More 2's pressure prevailed and they won that period 31-12 extending their advantage to 24 points. Newly promoted Cherno More 2 maintains seventh position in A with 4-0 record. Loser Dunav 2016 keeps the ninth place with two games lost. Cherno More 2 will meet at home Shumen (#8) in the next round. Dunav 2016 will play against Akademik Varna and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
