Here is the weekly review of the top performing Bulgarian players, who play currently abroad.

Darius Adams
Darius Adams
#1. This week's number one is an international point guard Darius Adams (188-89, agency: Stealth Sport, college: Indianapolis, currently plays in China). He was the major contributor in a Xinjiang Flying Tige's victory against the eighth-ranked Golden Stars (22-16) 108-102 in the Chinese CBA in Friday night's game. Adams recorded 21 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals (made all of his six free throws) in 31 minutes on the court. Xinjiang Flying Tigers (32-6) are placed first in the CBA. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. It's Adams' first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Adams averages: 30.7ppg, 5.7rpg, 5.9apg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 55.1%(276-501), 3FGP: 35.6% and FT: 87.2% in 41 games he played so far. He is a naturalized American. Adams is currently a member of the Bulgarian senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Bulgaria.

Alexander Vezenkov
Alexander Vezenkov
#2. Second place goes to an international power forward Alexander Vezenkov (206-95, currently plays in Euroleague). Vezenkov could not help FC Barcelona (9-15) in their last game on Friday. Despite his good performance the 11th-placed FC Barcelona (9-15) was crushed 85-61 at home by the much higher-ranked CSKA (#3) in the group A of Euroleague. Vezenkov was the top scorer with 14 points. He also added 4 rebounds. Vezenkov's overall stats this season are: 7.8ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 68.3%(41-60), 3FGP: 50.9%(27-53) and FT: 85.7%. He has a dual citizenship: Cypriot and Bulgarian. Despite Vezenkov played previously for the Cypriot U16 national team, he is currently a member of the Bulgarian senior national team.

Dee Bost
Dee Bost

Bost contributed to Monaco's victory against the closely-ranked Chalon/Saor (15-6) 82-72 in the French ProA on Sunday night. He scored 9 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 17 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. AS Monaco Basket (19-2) is placed first in the ProA. It was his team's tenth consecutive victory in a row. Bost has relatively good stats this year: 13.2ppg, 3.1rpg, 5.2apg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 43.6%, 3FGP: 35.9% and FT: 79.4% in 21 games. He is a naturalized American. Despite his good performance in Tuesday night's game Rowland recorded 12 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. This season Rowland has relatively solid stats: 10.7ppg, 2.7rpg, 3.9apg and 1.4spg. He is a naturalized American. Rowland used to play for the Bulgarian national team back in 2011. Interesting that he has never played in Bulgaria.

#6. Power forward Cedric Simmons (206-86, college: N.Carolina St., currently plays in Baltic League) is a teammate of previously mentioned Branko Mirkovic. But that was another game of his team in Baltic League which we would like to mention. Simmons contributed to an easy victory against the leader Barons Riga (10-2) 100-81. He recorded 9 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group Q. BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinnis placed second.
