Cherno More 2 (6-1) recorded its first loss on the court of ninth ranked Dolphin on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Dolphin 76-74. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Cherno More 2 won third quarter 15-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Dolphin won last quarter 15-14. Dolphin maintains ninth place in A with 4-3 record. Newly promoted Cherno More 2 keeps the seventh position with one game lost. Dolphin are looking forward to face Dunav 2016 (#10) in Ruse in the next round. Cherno More 2's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Varna to the arena Akademik Varna.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Levski 2014-2 (4-3) against fourth ranked Rilski 2 (3-4) on Sunday night. Visiting Levski 2014-2 was defeated by Rilski 2 in Samokov 91-74. Rilski 2 maintains fourth place in A with 3-4 record. Levski 2014-2 at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Rilski 2 will play against league's leader Akademik Sofia on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Levski 2014-2 will play against Chavdar in Troyan and hopes to get back on the winning track.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Varna. Leader Akademik Sofia faced 3rd placed UE Varna. Guests from Sofia (7-0) defeated host UE Varna (4-3) 97-88. Akademik Sofia maintains first place in A with 7-0 record. Loser UE Varna keeps the third position with three games lost. Akademik Sofia will meet at home Rilski 2 (#4) in the next round. UE Varna will play against Vidabasket in Vidin and hope to secure a win.

Chavdar will play against the league's second-placed Levski 2014-2 and hope to win that game.

In the last two games of round 7 In A Akademik Varna was defeated by Shumen in a road game 82-64. Bottom-ranked CSKA beat Dunav 2016 at home 68-58.

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Varna. Leader Akademik Sofia faced 3rd placed UE Varna. Guests from Sofia (7-0) defeated host UE Varna (4-3) 97-88. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 24-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Akademik Sofia maintains first place in A with 7-0 record. Loser UE Varna keeps the third position with three games lost. Akademik Sofia will meet at home Rilski 2 (#4) in the next round. UE Varna will play against Vidabasket in Vidin and hope to secure a win.

Rilski 2 - Levski 2014-2 91-74

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Akademik Varna (1-6) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Shumen (6-2) 82-64. The game without a history. Shumen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Shumen maintains eighth place in A with 6-2 record. Akademik Varna at the other side dropped to the bottom position with six games lost. Shumen will have a break next round.
