Koeva
Delyana Koeva (182-SF-86) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Haskovo 2012, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 17.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 21 points and 18 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Septemvri (#5, 0-15) with 57-point margin 128-71. It allowed Haskovo 2012 to consolidate first place in the Bulgarian NBL. Haskovo 2012 have a solid 12-3 record. In the team's last game Koeva had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. It was one of impressive evenings for her as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Delyana Koeva averages this season 5.9ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was another Haskovo 2012's star - 25-year old international shooting guard Violina Kocheva (175-SG-91). Kocheva had a very good evening with a double-double of 24 points and 12 assists. Of course together with Koeva she helped Haskovo 2012 with another comfortable win outscoring Septemvri (#5, 0-15) 128-71. Of course Haskovo 2012 still keep the league's top spot. Her team lost just three games this season, while they won 12 matches. Kocheva is a newcomer at Haskovo 2012, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center Cierra Robertson-Warren (193-C-91, agency: Two Points) of Beroe (#3). Robertson-Warren got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. Despite Robertson-Warren's great performance Beroe lost 72-88 to #4 ranked Neftochimic. But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Beroe needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 8 victories and 6 lost games. Robertson-Warren has a very solid season. In 6 games in Bulgaria she scored 19.0ppg. She also has 8.8rpg, 2.3bpg and FGP: 55.6%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Radostina Stefanova-Dimitrova (184-SF-85) of Haskovo 2012 - 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Chelsey Lee (193-C-89) of Haskovo 2012 - 22 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Waltiea Rolle (198-C-90) of Haskovo 2012 - 21 points and 8 rebounds
7. Ashley Prim (170-G-91) of Neftochimic - 26 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Ivona Ilieva (176-G-98) of Septemvri - 26 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists
9. Gabriela Kostova (190-C-94) of Neftochimic - 22 points and 5 rebounds
10. Tina Trebec (190-C-90) of Neftochimic - 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
