There are only two more rounds left in the Second Stage in Division A.

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Sofia. Top-ranked Akademik Sofia faced 4th ranked Rilski 2. Host Akademik Sofia (8-0) smashed guests from Samokov (3-5) 90-62. The game without a history. Akademik Sofia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Akademik Sofia maintains first position in A with 8-0 record. Rilski 2 at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost. Akademik Sofia's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Sofia to the arena Levski 2014-2.
The game in Troyan was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Levski 2014-2 (5-3) played at the court of 5th ranked Chavdar (2-6). Levski 2014-2 managed to secure a 6-point victory 89-83. Levski 2014-2 maintains second position in A with 5-3 record having just two points less than leader Cherno More 2. Chavdar at the other side keeps the fifth place with six games lost. Levski 2014-2's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Sofia Akademik Sofia.
The game in Vidin was also quite interesting. Third ranked UE Varna (5-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Vidabasket (1-7). UE Varna managed to secure a 9-point victory 87-78 on Sunday. UE Varna maintains third position in A with 5-3 record having just two points less than leader Cherno More 2. Loser Vidabasket keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. UE Varna will meet at home Chavdar (#5) in the next round. Vidabasket will play against Rilski 2 in Samokov and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Varna: Cherno More 2 (#7) and Akademik Varna (#12). Akademik Varna was smashed at home by 18 points 68-86 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Newly promoted Cherno More 2 maintains seventh position in A with 7-1 record. Akademik Varna at the other side stay at the bottom place with seven games lost. Cherno More 2's next round opponent will be Dunav 2016 (#10) in Ruse. Akademik Varna will play against CSKA and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 8 In A Dolphin was defeated by Dunav 2016 in Ruse 103-87.

Vidabasket trailed by 17 points after 3 quarters before a 21-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 78-87 at the end of the game. UE Varna maintains third position in A with 5-3 record having just two points less than leader Cherno More 2. Loser Vidabasket keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. UE Varna will meet at home Chavdar (#5) in the next round. Vidabasket will play against Rilski 2 in Samokov and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Dunav 2016 - Dolphin 103-87

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Ruse where 9th ranked Dolphin (4-4) was defeated by tenth ranked Dunav 2016 (4-4) 103-87. Dolphin was ahead by 11 points after three quarters before a 16-30 charge of Dunav 2016, which allowed them to win the game. Dunav 2016 maintains tenth position in A with 4-4 record. Dunav 2016's next round opponent will be higher ranked Cherno More 2 (#7) in Varna and it may be quite challenging game.
