The Second Stage in Division A just ended. There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

Top ranked Akademik Sofia (8-2) recorded its second loss in Troyan on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by fifth ranked Chavdar (3-7) 97-86. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 97-86. Chavdar maintains fifth position in A with 3-7 record. Akademik Sofia at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost.
Important game to mention about took place in Shumen. Eighth ranked Shumen (7-3) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 7th ranked Cherno More 2 (8-2) 83-82 on Wednesday evening. Shumen maintains eighth position in A with 7-3 record. Newly promoted Cherno More 2 keeps the seventh place with two games lost.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Varna. Third ranked UE Varna faced one of their biggest challengers Rilski 2. Host UE Varna (7-3) defeated guests from Samokov (4-6) 103-94. UE Varna maintains third position in A with 7-3 record behind leader Cherno More 2. Loser Rilski 2 keeps the fourth place with six games lost.
The game in Vidin was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Levski 2014-2 (7-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Vidabasket (1-9). Levski 2014-2 managed to secure a 4-point victory 92-88. Levski 2014-2 maintains second position in A with 7-3 record behind leader Cherno More 2. Vidabasket at the other side keeps the sixth place with nine games lost.
Important game to mention about took place in Varna. Tenth ranked Dunav 2016 (5-5) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 12th ranked Akademik Varna (1-9) 85-83 on Sunday evening. Dunav 2016 maintains tenth position in A with 5-5 record. Loser Akademik Varna stay at the bottom place with nine games lost.

In the last game of round 10 In A Dolphin was crushed by CSKA in a road game 89-53.

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Varna. Third ranked UE Varna faced one of their biggest challengers Rilski 2. Host UE Varna (7-3) defeated guests from Samokov (4-6) 103-94. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 30-14 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. UE Varna maintains third position in A with 7-3 record behind leader Cherno More 2. Loser Rilski 2 keeps the fourth place with six games lost.

Vidabasket - Levski 2014-2 88-92

The game in Vidin was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Levski 2014-2 (7-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Vidabasket (1-9). Levski 2014-2 managed to secure a 4-point victory 92-88. Vidabasket was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 47-33 second half run of Levski 2014-2. Levski 2014-2 maintains second position in A with 7-3 record behind leader Cherno More 2. Vidabasket at the other side keeps the sixth place with nine games lost.

Important game to mention about took place in Varna. Tenth ranked Dunav 2016 (5-5) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 12th ranked Akademik Varna (1-9) 85-83 on Sunday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Akademik Varna won fourth quarter 18-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dunav 2016 maintains tenth position in A with 5-5 record. Loser Akademik Varna stay at the bottom place with nine games lost.

There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Dolphin (5-5) was crushed on the road by eleventh ranked CSKA (4-6) 89-53 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-53. Newly promoted CSKA maintains eleventh position in A with 4-6 record. Loser Dolphin keeps the ninth place with five games lost.

The Regular Season in Division A just started. The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results. The biggest surprise of round 1 in Division A took place in Troyan where host Chavdar (1-0) beat Beroe-2 (0-1) 97-84 on Sunday evening.
