Here is the weekly review of the top performing Bulgarian players, who play currently abroad.

Radoslava Bachvarova
Radoslava Bachvarova
#1. This week's number one is former international forward Radoslava Bachvarova (183-87, college: VCU, currently plays in Hungary). She could not help Vasas Akademia (5-15) in their last game. Despite Bachvarova's good performance Vasas Akademia lost 63-76 on the road to the higher-ranked (#5) PEAC-Pecs. She recorded 10 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists in 28 minutes on the court. Bachvarova has relatively good stats this year: 11.7ppg, 3.7rpg, 2.1apg, 2FGP: 43.9%, 3FGP: 31.8% and FT: 88.0% in 19 games she played so far. Former Levski Sofia starter played for the Bulgarian senior national team five years ago.

Iva Georgieva
Iva Georgieva
#2. Second place goes to U20 international point guard Iva Georgieva (170-96, college: Salt Lake CC, currently plays in Italy). She was not able to help Alghero in their game against San Salvatore (9-17) in the Italian Serie A2 (second division). Georgieva scored 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. The 14th-placed Alghero (1-25) was badly defeated 73-53 in San Salvatore by the higher-ranked San Salvatore (#9) in the Group A. It was Alghero's 12th consecutive loss in a row. The Regular Season already ended. It's Georgieva's first season with the team. This year she has relatively solid stats: 14.9ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.5bpg, 3.9spg, 2FGP: 39.8%, 3FGP: 24.4% and FT: 58.0%. Diana Voynova
Diana Voynova
#3. The Bulgarian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Diana Voynova (192-88, college: Duquesne, currently plays in Germany). She was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams BC Pharmaserv Marburg (14-8) in their game against Gruner Stern Keltern (18-4) in the German DBBL. Voynova's contribution was not very remarkable in Sunday's game. She recorded only 2 points. BC Pharmaserv Marburg was badly defeated 77-60 in Keltern by the second-ranked Gruner Stern. Voynova has reliable stats this season: 10.4ppg, 7.1rpg, 2FGP: 47.1% and FT: 51.3%. She is also a member of the Bulgarian senior national team.

Hristina Tyutyundzhieva
Hristina Tyutyundzhieva
#4. Center Hristina Tyutyundzhieva (190-93, currently plays in France) managed to help Avenir Basket Chartres in a victory against one of league's weakest teams Dunkerque (6-20) crushing them 79-52 in the French LF2 (second division) last Saturday. Tyutyundzhieva scored only 2 points in 17 minutes. Avenir Basket Chartres (22-4) is placed first in the LF2. The Regular Season already ended. This year Tyutyundzhieva's overall stats are: 1.6ppg and 1.8rpg in 24 games. She used to play for the Bulgarian national team back in 2014.

#5. Former U16 international power forward Katrin Stoichkova (182-99, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Viterbo (6-18) in their game against Civitanova (16-8) in the Italian Serie A2 (second division). Stoichkova did not beat the league record on Wednesday evening. She scored only one point. Viterbo (#11) was badly defeated 63-44 in Civitanova Marche by the higher-ranked Civitanova (#5) in the Group B. It was Viterbo's fourth consecutive loss in a row. The Regular Season already ended. This season Stoichkova averages: 3.9ppg and 2.6rpg. She used to play for the Bulgarian U16 national team two years ago.

Diana Naydenova-Goryanova
Diana Naydenova-Goryanova
#6. An experienced guard Diana Naydenova-Goryanova (171-73, currently plays in United Kingdom) couldn't help Crusaders (14-0) in their game against Suns (11-6) in the British WBBL. She cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. Naydenova-Goryanova scored only 2 points. The league leader Crusaders was defeated 69-54 in Sevenoaks by the lower-ranked Suns (#3). Her team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Naydenova-Goryanova's total stats this season are: 4.1ppg, 1.6rpg and 2.3apg. She is a former international player as she played for the Bulgarian senior team nine years ago.

The list of other players, who all have Bulgarian passport but never been selected to any of Bulgarian national teams:

Draganova recorded 7 points and added 3 assists in 24 minutes. Wolfpack Wolfenbuettel (#2) lost 62-73 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#11) Goettingen in the North group. This year Draganova's overall stats are: 4.6ppg, 1.7rpg and 1.1apg in 24 games she played so far.
