Zagreb is the National Cup winner - Feb 21, 2010
Zagreb - Cibona 81-74

Zagreb is the winner of Croatian National Cup. In very exciting Final Game, Zagreb was too strong for the defending champion Cibona 81-74. That is the second National Cup trophy for Zagreb in the last three years. Luka Zoric (211-C/F-84) was a key player in this victory with 24 points and 5 rebounds. Damir Mulaomerovic (195-G-74) scored 20 points and handed out 6 assists, while Krunoslav Simon (197-G/F-85) added 13 pts. In Cibona, Bojan Bogdanovic (202-G/F-89) (9 rebs) and Jamont Gordon (193-G/F-87, college: Mississippi St.) (8 rebs) had 17 points each. Marko Tomas (201-G-85) followed with 16.
The winner of this game was decided in the last minute. After basket by Krunoslav Simon, Zagreb reached 76-72 lead. Bagaric scored it twice from the line for Cibona, but Luka Zoric made a dunk for plus 4 once again. Jamont Gordon missed a triple for Cibona after that, and on the other side Stimac scored one of two FTs for Zagreb. Gordon and Bojan Bogdanovic were unsuccessful again from behind the arc and Luka Zoric just sealed the victory in the Big Final.
As a reminder, in the Semifinals Zagreb was better than Cedevita 80-73. Cibona outsmarted Zadar in overtime 81-71.
