According to reports from Croatian media, BC Split has changed Head Coach once again. The turmoil within the club continues, and this time it was Boris Kurtovic who had to pay the price. Kurtovic was sacked by the clubs management after failing to reach place in the second stage of the Croatian league, which could lead to place in Adriatic League. Reportedly, his replacement will be Mladen Vuskovic who has been working with youth categories within the club. Vuskovic is a familiar face, having already worked as Head coach at Split during 2001-2002 season. Clubs President Dino Radja has stated that he believes that Vuskovic was the best solution as new Head Coach since he is already familiar with the squad. It is expected that Vuskovic will also lead U18 team who will be defending the title they won last year. This should not interfere with Senior squad duties. Mladen Vuskovic got his first Head Coaching job in 1997 when he was appointed as Head Coach of Siroki Brijeg. In his debut season, he led Siroki to National Title in Bosnian League. Season later he moved to Troglav Livno who also competed in Bosnian League. In 2001, Vuskovic signed a deal with Croatia Osiguranje Split but has resigned from the position in March of 2002. During season 2003-2004, Vuskovic returned to Siroki but has yet again left the club in March of 2004. From 2006 until 2008, Vuskovic worked as Head Coach of Croatian outfit Svijetlost. He had fairly good results with the team, and in 2008 he coached at the Croatian League All-Star Game.
