Croatia earned the third win at the London Invitational Tournament. They fired past China to improve at 3-2 record. Bojan Bogdanovic (202-G/F-89) scored 16 points to lead the effort. Croatia limited China to 12 points in the opening quarter to pile up a five-point lead. Bojan Bogdanovic and Damir Markota (210-C/F-85) stretched the lead to 11 points midway through the second term. But China capped the half on a 14:5 run to narrow the deficit at 4-point mark 31:35. Bojan Bogdanovic triggered a 9:0 run at the start of the third period as China cleared off. They established a 61:45 advantage at the final break. The European team tipped off the final frame on a 9:0 surge and never looked back en route to the victory. Damir Markota finished with 12 points, while Luka Zoric (211-C/F-84) and Marko Popovic (185-G-82, college: S.Idaho JC) added 10 points each in the win. Jianlian Yi (212-C/F-87) answered with 17 points for China. Zhang ZhaoXu (221-C-87, college: California) and Su Wei (212-C-89) netted 8 points each in the loss.
