National team member Anda Jelavic (172-G-80) has left Novi Zagreb to join Turkish side Kayseri KASKI. Jelavic, who tore her ACL while preparing for the EuroBasket Women 2011, has recovered from the injury and has played just one game this season for Novi Zagreb scoring 6 points. Last season she played for Wisla Can-Pack Krakow in Poland where she averaged 4.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game in EuroLeague Women action.
Novi Zagreb inked Monika Bosilj (178-G-85, college: FIU) for the remainder of the season. She arrives from Bosnian side Mladi Krajisnik. Bosilj averaged 8.3 points (2P 43%, 3P 31%,m FT 70%), 5.0 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.3 blocks in 10 Adriatic League games this season.
Spanish team UNB Obenasa Lacturale has announced the signing of Marta Perlic, formerly Marta Cakic (175-G-82). She arrives from Sibenik Jolly JBS for whom she averaged 8.5 points in 2 Croatian League games this season. During the summer Marta Cakic was a part of the fifth placed Croatian NT.

Vinkovci and Vukovar to host U18 European Championship Women Division A on August 15-25. The Croatian cities will be glad to host such an event. Sixteen teams were divided into four groups with 4 teams in each.
Group A: Turkey, Belarus, Netherlands, Czech Republic
Group B: Spain, England, Russia, Croatia
Group C: Greece, Portugal, Sweden, Serbia
Group D: Italy, Slovenia, France, Slovak Republic

Olivia Epoupa (165-PG-94) was a key player in victory with 20 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. She reached valuation 25 and was named MVP of the tournament. Belarus was the gold medal winner in Strumica. They grabbed 76-74 victory over UK in the Big Final of U18 EuroBasket Division B. The Silver belongs to UK and both teams won the promotion for Division A. Portugal won the Bronze in Strumica.
