Svjetlost - Zadar 64-63 A very interesting game took place in Slavonski Brod. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Zadar (6-4) to eighth ranked Svjetlost (2-8) 64-63 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Zadar. Zadar was ahead by 14 points at the halftime before a 32-17 second half run of Svjetlost. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Zadar to just 4 points in third quarter. Svjetlost shot 21 for 28 from the free-throw line, while Zadar only scored five points from the stripe. Svjetlost forced 19 Zadar turnovers. 26 personal fouls committed by Zadar helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international power forward Ljubo Samadan (208-83) notched 19 points to lead the effort and power forward Andrej Stimac (204-79) supported him with 13 points and 4 steals. Four Svjetlost players scored in double figures. Even 14 points by forward Ante Krapic (202-85) did not help to save the game for Zadar. Center Ive Ivanov (201-85) added 12 points for lost side. #1. This week's number one is former international center Ante Tomic (217-87, agency: XL Basketball Agency, currently plays in Spain). He led Regal FC Barcelona to a victory over the ninth-ranked Unicaja Malaga (18-16) 57-50 in the Spanish ACB in Sunday night's game.
Tomic was MVP of the game. He recorded 11 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in 28 minutes on the court.
Regal FC Barcelona (23-11) is placed third in the ACB.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
It's Tomic's first season with the team.
Tomic belongs to league's best rebounders and is ranked #3 with 6.6rpg.
He also averaged so far 11.9ppg, 1.4apg, 2FGP: 61.5%(174-283) and FT: 62.4% in the 34 games he played so far.

Vladovic was the main contributor in Krka's victory against the second-ranked Un.Olimpija (7-3) 81-68 in the Slovenian Telemach League on Monday night.
He was the best player in that game. Vladovic recorded 15 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists in 31 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Places 1-6. Krka Novo Mesto (9-1) is placed first.
It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row.
Vladovic is ranked fifth on the list of the best passers in the league with 4.1apg.

Bubnic was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 4 rebounds in 35 minutes.
This year Bubnic's overall stats are: 6.1ppg and 2.4rpg in the 16 games.
