Talented Luka Babic (200-F-91) had a great game in the last round for KK Split and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 14 (Second Stage). The 20-year old forward had the game-high 24 points adding eight rebounds and four assists for KK Split in his team's victory, helping them to beat Svjetlost (#6, 3-11) 84-77. KK Split advanced to Playoff Semifinals as No.3 (10-4 record). Luka Babic averages this season 9.4ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 27-year old Bosnia and Herzegovina center Teo Simovic (205-C-84, agency: Interperformances) of Kvarner 2010 (PLAY-OUT). Simovic impressed basketball fans with 22 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he lead Kvarner 2010 to another comfortable win 87-72 over slightly lower-ranked Dubrovnik (#-3, 8-12) being unquestionably team leader. Kvarner 2010 ended as No.3 in Play-Out Group with 11-9 record. Simovic is a newcomer at Kvarner 2010 and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.3ppg (#7). He also registered 6.8 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Andrej Stimac (204-F/C-79) of Svjetlost (#6). Stimac got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. Despite Stimac's great performance Svjetlost lost 77-84 to the higher-ranked KK Split (#3, 10-4). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Svjetlost finished as No.6 in the league with 3-11 score. Stimac has individually a great season in Croatia. After 21 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.7ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 7.0rpg (4th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Antonio Bicvic (199-F-82) of Darda - 27 points and 4 rebounds
5. Josip Sobin (203-G/F-89) of KK Split - 12 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists
6. Mario Pesut (G-90) of Borik - 18 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Ante Delas (201-G/F-88) of Zadar - 21 points and 3 rebounds
8. Marino Sarlija (207-F/C-89) of Borik - 18 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Dalibor Bagaric (217-C-80) of Cedevita - 17 points and 6 rebounds
10. Marijan Cakarun (90) of Borik - 22 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
