France celebrated victory at the Reze international tournament. The hosts celebrated four victories in as many games played. They fired past Croatia on the final day of the competition. Marieme Badiane (188-C-94) and Assitan Kone (190-F-95) came up with 14 points each to lead the winners.
The teams stayed close throughout the first quarter. France claimed a narrow 10:9 lead at the first break. The hosts stretched the lead in the second term. They gained a 22:13 halftime advantage. France boosted the distance even more in the third term. They arrived at the final break up by 11 points 39:28. France held their opponents to 12 points in the final period and clinched a comfortable win at the end. Awa Sissoko (178-SG-94) netted 8 points in the victory. Ivana Tikvic (189-C-94) answered with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Ana Marija Begic (190-C-94) had 10 points for Croatia.

Tresnjevka 2009 lands Lungile Mtsweni - 3 days ago
Croatian runner-up Tresnjevka 2009 bolstered its roster for the coming season by inking South African National team member Lungile Mtsweni (176-F/G-85) for the coming season. Mtsweni was a member of the South African National team from 2007 through 2015. She averaged 4.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.3 assists in seven African Championship in Cameroon in 2015. It will be her first season in Europe.   [read more]

Zadar brings back Ana Vrsaljko (ex-Sibenik) - 3 days ago
Zadar added experience and size to its roster by signing their former member Ana Vrsaljko(188-F/C-84) on a one-year contract. Vrsaljko arrives from Sibenik, where she averaged 14.6 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 9 Croatian A1 League games last season. Vrsaljko grew up with Zadar, where she played until 2008 and during the 2015-16 season. Lana Packovski moves from Italy to Poland - 6 days ago
Croatian National team member Lana Packovski (170-G-94) will continue her career in Poland. She signed a one-year contract with JAS-FBG Zagebie Sosnowiec. Packovski arrives from Italian side Fassi Albino, for whom she averaged 12.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists (ranked fifth) and 2.3 steals in 27 Serie A2 League games last season.
