Zadar clinched a narrow home win over Igokea in Adriatic League encounter. It was the third success for the Croatian team in the season. Goran Vrbanc (194-G-84) nailed 13 points to lead the winners. Igokea suffered just the second loss at the tournament.
The Bosnian team started strong. They recorded a 17:11 lead ten minutes into the encounter. Zadar however held the visitors to 7 points in the second frame to surge ahead for a 26:24 halftime lead. Igokea surged back in front in the third term. The Bosnian team entered the final frame up by 4 points. Igokea still led 57:53 with under two minutes remaining. But Zadar went on an 8:1 run to take a 61:58 lead with seconds remaining. Clifford Hammonds (191-G-85, college: Clemson) sank two free throws to put Igokea within one however Romeo Travis (201-PF-84, college: Akron) came up with a crucial steal and Zadar escaped with victory. Franko Kastropil (212-C-84) netted 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Romeo Travis and Barisa Krasic (203-C-78) added 7 points each for the winners. Clifford Hammonds answered with 23 points for Igokea. Milos Komatina (205-F/C-84) chipped in 8 points in the loss.

31-year old forward Ivan Novacic (201-F-85, agency: XL Basketball Agency) put on an amazing game in the last round for Jolly JBS and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 22.
