The most important game in the last round took place in Darda between third ranked Djuro Djakovic (3-3) and seventh ranked Vrijednosnice OS (3-3) on Saturday night. Djuro Djakovic was crushed by Vrijednosnice OS on the road 84-62. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-62. Vrijednosnice OS dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Djuro Djakovic's 30. Bosnian center Mato Peraica (203-C-81) scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Bosnian power forward Mirza Hrncic (203-86) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Vrijednosnice OS's coach Senad Muminovic felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was power forward Marino Sarlija (207-89) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Vrijednosnice OS moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Djuro Djakovic. Djuro Djakovic lost third consecutive game. Vrijednosnice OS is looking forward to face Alkar Sinj (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Djuro Djakovic will play against KK Dubrovnik (#10) and is hoping to win this game.

Even 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by American point guard Patrick Rembert (185-89, college: Cal-Irvine) did not help to save the game for Krizevci. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Undefeated KK Zagreb have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Krizevci at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. KK Zagreb will play against KK Zabok (#7) in Zabok in the next round where they are favorite. Krizevci will play at home against the league's second-placed Kvarner 2010 (#2) in Rijeka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked Osjecki Sokol managed to get a second victory on Saturday night. This time newly promoted Osjecki Sokol won against ninth-ranked KK Dubrovnik 90-84. The best player for the winners was Bruno Sundov who scored 19 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Osjecki Sokol's coach Zoran Helbich used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Mislav Peric who recorded 28 points and 5 rebounds. Osjecki Sokol (2-4) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Alkar Sinj and Zabok. Loser KK Dubrovnik dropped to the bottom position with five games lost. Osjecki Sokol will meet at home higher ranked Jolly (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. KK Dubrovnik will play against Djuro Djakovic (#6) in Slavonski Brod.

In the last two games of round 6 Alkar Sinj lost to Kvarner 2010 on the opponent's court 55-69. Jolly managed to outperform Zabok in a home game 84-70.

KK Zagreb - Krizevci 83-67

The game between Top Four teams took place in Zagreb. Top-ranked host KK Zagreb (6-0) defeated 3rd ranked Krizevci (3-3) 83-67. It looked good early as Krizevci took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then KK Zagreb had a 25-17 second period charge getting the lead and Krizevci was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 67-83. They outrebounded Krizevci 43-28 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Mike James (185-90, college: Lamar) notched 27 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and guard Tomislav Petrovic (203-85) supported him with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Kvarner 2010 - Alkar Sinj 69-55

Very expected game in Rijeka where 7th ranked Alkar Sinj (2-4) was defeated by second ranked Kvarner 2010 (5-1) 69-55 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Kvarner 2010. Alkar Sinj managed to win third quarter 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Kvarner 2010 forced 20 Alkar Sinj turnovers and outrebounded them 37-17 including 23 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Ivica Radic (208-90) who scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Jure Skific (202-88) chipped in 14 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was Josip Matic (202-92) who recorded 12 points and forward Zeljko Zupic (205-81, college: Denver) added 6 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Bottom-ranked Osjecki Sokol managed to get a second victory on Saturday night. This time newly promoted Osjecki Sokol won against ninth-ranked KK Dubrovnik 90-84. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 27-13 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Osjecki Sokol shot 61.2 percent from the field and made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game.
