The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with extra overtimes, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked KK Zagreb as it allowed them to take a leadership position. KK Zagreb smashed 9th ranked Osjecki Sokol at home 102-79. The game without a history. KK Zagreb led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. KK Zagreb forced 22 Osjecki Sokol turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Osjecki Sokol's players. Guard Tomislav Petrovic (203-G-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points and 4 assists. Bosnian forward Miralem Halilovic (205-91) contributed with 12 points and 5 assists for the winners. Center Bruno Sundov (221-80, agency: Alti Sport) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds for Osjecki Sokol. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Kvarner 2010. Newly promoted Osjecki Sokol keeps the ninth place with six games lost. Osjecki Sokol will play next round against strong Kvarner 2010 trying to get back on the winning streak. KK Zagreb will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Jolly in Sibenik.

The most impressive performance of 8th round was 41 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 5 assists by Ronald Ross of Jolly.
