USK Praha survive Novi Zagreb challenge and managed to beat them 91:88 at home. The Czech team grabbed a 4-6 record in Group C after a 91:88 vcitory.
The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 27-19. But Lupa Promotion won second period 28-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when USK Praha won last quarter 22-20. It was a great evening for Kia Vaughn (193-C-87, college: Rutgers) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds. Ilona Burgrova (194-C-84, college: S.Carolina) helped adding 16 points and 9 rebounds. Latoya Williams (190-C-87, college: Chipola JC) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and Sandra Mandir (177-G-77) scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
Defending Czech champion moved-up to fourth place in Group C, which they share with CCC Polkowice. Lupa Promotion lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with eight games lost.
