Ivica Radic
A1 round 11 caused change at the leadership position. Third defeat of league's leader KK Zagreb (8-3) against second ranked Kvarner 2010 (9-2) 76-70 was the most important game of the last round. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 12 points after three quarters before their 28-10 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Kvarner 2010 forced 19 KK Zagreb turnovers. Forward Ivica Radic (208-90) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Dino Stipcic (177-89) contributed with 12 points for the winners. Kvarner 2010's coach Vladimir Anzulovic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Tomislav Petrovic (203-85) answered with 20 points and 6 rebounds for KK Zagreb. Kvarner 2010 keeps a position of league leader. KK Zagreb at the other side dropped to the second place with three games lost. They share the position with Jolly. They were replaced at the leadership position by Kvarner 2010. KK Zagreb will play next round against Vrijednosnice OS trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Kvarner 2010 will try to continue on its current victory against tenth ranked KK Dubrovnik on the road.
The game in Darda was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Jolly (8-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Vrijednosnice OS (5-6). Jolly managed to secure a 6-point victory 71-65. Jolly have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with KK Zagreb. Vrijednosnice OS at the other side keeps the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Krizevci. Jolly will play against Djuro Djakovic (#5) in Slavonski Brod in the next round. Vrijednosnice OS will play on the road against KK Zagreb and hopes to get back on the winning track.
