Tomislav
Petrovic
27-year old guard Tomislav Petrovic (203-G-85) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked KK Zagreb and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had a double-double of 32 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Darda (#7, 5-7) 83-69. KK Zagreb maintains the 2nd position in Croatian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. KK Zagreb will need more victories to improve their 9-3 record. In the team's last game Petrovic had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 10 attempts. He turned to be KK Zagreb's top player in his first season with the team. Tomislav Petrovic averages this season 12.0ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Toni Brnas (201-F-91) of Djuro Djakovic. He is a forward in his first season at Djuro Djakovic. In the last game Brnas recorded impressive 22 points and 9 rebounds. Of course Djuro Djakovic cruised to a 98-91 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Jolly (#3, 8-4). Djuro Djakovic's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 7-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Brnas is one of the most experienced players at Djuro Djakovic and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Ronald Ross (188-G-83) of Jolly (#3). Ross got into 30-points club by scoring 36 points in the last round. He went also for five assists. Despite Ross' great performance Jolly lost 91-98 to slightly lower-ranked Djuro Djakovic (#5, 7-5). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Jolly needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 8 victories and 4 lost games. Ross has a great season in Croatia. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.1ppg (best scorer) and assists with 3.8apg (4th best). He also has 2.2spg, FGP: 57.9% and 3PT: 42.4%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Mate Mrva (195-F-83) of Jolly - 19 points and 12 rebounds
5. Veljko Budimir (199-G/F-85) of Osjecki Sokol - 22 points and 8 rebounds
6. Ivan Cvjetkovic (205-C-85) of Krizevci - 25 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Marko Car (188-SG-85) of KK Zagreb - 25 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Marino Sarlija (207-C/F-89) of Djuro Djakovic - 19 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Josip Glavinic (192-G-82) of Darda - 25 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists
10. Antonio Vlaic (204-C-91) of Zabok - 20 points and 8 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
