Luca
Ivankovic
25-year old center Luca Ivankovic (207-C-87) had a very impressive game in the last round for Jolly and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 15.
She had a double-double of 29 points and 12 rebounds, while her team outclassed Ragusa (#11, 4-11) with 33-point margin 83-50. Jolly maintains the 3rd position in Croatian A1. They are still close to the very top. Jolly would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 12-2 record. Ivankovic has many years of experience at Jolly, through which he has constantly improved. Ivankovic has impressive league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.5ppg and leads league in rebounds with 11.0rpg. Ivankovic is in league's top in and averages solid 1.5bpg and 75.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Ivana Roje (189-F-87) of Split. She is a forward in her second season at Split. In the last game Roje recorded impressive double-double of 24 points and 18 rebounds. Of course she lead Split to another comfortable win outscoring Agram ZG (#12, 0-15) 67-47. Split's 5th position in the standings has not changed. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-8 record. Roje is well-known at Split and she already established her position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Mirna Mazic (188-F-85, agency: 1x1 Sports) of league's second-best Novi Zagreb. Mazic scored 18 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Novi Zagreb, leading her team to a 77-74 win against #4 ranked Medvescak in a game of the week. Many experts and fans count Novi Zagreb as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 14 victories and only one lost games.. Mazic has a great season in Croatia. After 12 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.4rpg (6th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Zana Cvjetkovic (175-F-90) of Zadar - 15 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists
5. Monika Bosilj (178-G-85) of Gospic - 22 points and 10 rebounds

10. Ivona Matic (188-F/C-86) of Ragusa - 17 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
