The game had a very big importance for second-ranked KK Zagreb as it allowed them to take a leadership position. KK Zagreb defeated 3rd ranked Alkar Sinj at home 85-75. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Alkar Sinj. The game was mostly controlled by KK Zagreb. Alkar Sinj managed to win fourth quarter 27-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Tomislav Petrovic (203-85) scored 26 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Matija Poscic (204-85, college: De Paul) chipped in 18 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Swingman Slavko Modric (203-84) responded with 19 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KK Zagreb have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Kvarner 2010. Alkar Sinj at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. They share the position with Jolly. Alkar Sinj will play next round against strong Kvarner 2010 trying to get back on the winning streak. KK Zagreb will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Krizevci on the road.
Tenth-ranked KK Dubrovnik (1-13) gave a tough game to seventh ranked Vrijednosnice OS (7-7). The visitors from Darda managed to secure only three-point victory 75-72. However their fans expected easier game. Guard Luka Panduric (192-93) notched 22 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and Dejan Meznaric supported him with 15 points. Even 23 points and 5 rebounds by guard Mislav Peric (191-88) did not help to save the game for KK Dubrovnik. KK Dubrovnik's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Vrijednosnice OS moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Djuro Djakovic. KK Dubrovnik lost tenth consecutive game. KK Dubrovnik at the other side stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. Vrijednosnice OS will play against Djuro Djakovic (#6) in Slavonski Brod in the next round. KK Dubrovnik will play on the road against Osjecki Sokol (#9) in Osijek and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game took place in Osijek where 6th ranked KK Zabok (6-8) was upset on the court of ninth ranked Osjecki Sokol (4-10) 86-82 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of KK Zabok. The best player for the winners was Dino Rados who scored 26 points. Antonio Vlaic produced 27 points and 8 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field) for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Osjecki Sokol maintains ninth position with 4-10 record. Loser KK Zabok dropped to the seventh place with eight games lost. Osjecki Sokol will meet at home bottom-ranked KK Dubrovnik (#10) in the next round. KK Zabok will play against Jolly in Sibenik and hope to secure a win.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Jolly moved-up to third place, which they share with Alkar Sinj. Krizevci lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with nine games lost. Jolly's next round opponent will be KK Zabok (#7) in Zabok. Krizevci will play at home against the league's leader KK Zagreb.

In the last game of round 14 Djuro Djakovic was destroyed by Kvarner 2010 on the opponent's court 84-63.

An interesting game took place in Osijek where 6th ranked KK Zabok (6-8) was upset on the court of ninth ranked Osjecki Sokol (4-10) 86-82 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-82. Osjecki Sokol made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was forward Dino Rados (-91) who scored 26 points. Swingman Veljko Budimir (199-85, agency: Court Side) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Four Osjecki Sokol players scored in double figures. Djuro Djakovic was better in second period 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tenth-ranked KK Dubrovnik (1-13) gave a tough game to seventh ranked Vrijednosnice OS (7-7). The visitors from Darda managed to secure only three-point victory 75-72. However their fans expected easier game. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But KK Dubrovnik won fourth quarter 23-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KK Dubrovnik was plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Luka Panduric (192-93) notched 22 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and power forward Dejan Meznaric (205-87) supported him with 15 points. Even 23 points and 5 rebounds by guard Mislav Peric (191-88) did not help to save the game for KK Dubrovnik. Guard Ivan Mikulic (191-91) added 13 points and 4 assists for the hosts. KK Dubrovnik's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Vrijednosnice OS moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Djuro Djakovic. KK Dubrovnik lost tenth consecutive game. KK Dubrovnik at the other side stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. Vrijednosnice OS will play against Djuro Djakovic (#6) in Slavonski Brod in the next round. KK Dubrovnik will play on the road against Osjecki Sokol (#9) in Osijek and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
