Zadar-Gospic 52-66: Gospic had more offensive (22) than defensive rebounds (21). They used a 20-4 run spanning halftime to pull away from the home team, 49-29. Monika Bosilj (178-G-85, college: FIU) scored 23 points on shooting 7-of-12 from 3-points line, Ivana Jurcevic (174-G-81) added 17 points, Josipa Bura (185-C-85) poured in 11 points and Chevon Keith (178-G-86, college: W.Carolina) grabbed 10 rebounds. Zadar was outrebounded 23-43, picking up just 3 offensive boards. Davorka Balic (188-F-88) scored 21 points, Lara Nikpalj (180-F-89) had 10 points and 10 rebounds and Lara Majstorovic (182-F-90) posted 10 points.
Studenac Omis-Novi Zagreb 57-94: Zagreb opened the game with a 21-5 run and led by as many as 32 points at the halftime. Mirna Mazic (188-F-85, agency: 1x1 Sports, college: Richmond) finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds, Lana Packovski (170-G-94) scored 14 points, Matea Vrdoljak (183-F-85) 13 and Gordana Bedalov (191-C-84, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group, college: FIU) added 10 points. Omis was led by Karla Kalajzic (173-G-93) with her 18 points and Ivana Vrvilo (170-G-83) scored 12 points.
Sibenik Jolly-Split 88-45: Sibenik opened the game with a 22-3 run. They led by as many as 33 points at the half and by 76-30 going into the final period. Luca Ivankovic (207-C-87) scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Ana Semren (190-C-88) scored 20 points and Kristina Benic (180-F-88) collected 14 points, 9 rebounds and 7 steals. Split commited 32 turnovers. Josipa Zovko (186-F-90) scored 16 points and Ana Parunov (182-SF-89) added 11 points.
Tresnjevka-Medvescak 63-73: Trailing by 22-31 in the second quarter, Medvescak scored 10 consecutive points to ignite a 21-3 run that pushed their advantage to 43-34. They never looked back from there. Ruzica Dzankic (179-SF-94) scored 20 points, Nina Premasunac (186-F-92) had 11 points and 14 rebounds and Petra Peric (163-G-85) added 10 points. Tresnjevka won in three quarter, but they outscored 10-31 in the second period. Irena Cuncic (175-G-86) scored 20 points and Ivana Jovanovic (185-F/C-85) added 17 points.
Agram-Rockwool Pula 73-84: After trailing 36-61 in the third quarter, Agram cut the deficit to eight, 71-79, with three minutes to go but wasn't able to grab its first win of the season. Chelsea Pickering (175-G-89, college: Idaho St.) scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Pula, Tea Buzov (176-G-90) posted 16 of her 18 points in the first half and Ivana Dukic (172-G-92) posted 16 points, all on the 3-pointer. Maja Ramljak (185-C-88) had 20 rebounds and Martina Zubak (191-C-83) grabbed 18 rebounds. Agram was led by Iva Belosevic (182-SF-97) with her 23 points, Ema Mestrovic (170-F-93) collected 18 points and 11 rebounds, Branka Vukicevic (173-G-82) scored 17 points and Dana Saric (174-SF-95) added 11.

21-year old forward Lea Miletic (183-F-95) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Pula C.Tours and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 8. She had a double-double of 26 points and 20 rebounds, while her team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Brod na Savi (#11, 0-7) with 22-point margin 93-71. A1 Round 8: ZKK Medvescak keeps a leadership position - 6 days ago

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked ZKK Medvescak as it allowed them to take a leadership position. ZKK Medvescak smashed 7th ranked Podravac in Zagreb 99-43. The game was mostly controlled by ZKK Medvescak. Podravac managed to win fourth quarter 14-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
