Leader Gospic delivered the sixteenth win on Saturday night. This time they beat 6th ranked KK Zadar (7-10) 66-52. Gospic dominated on the defensive end, holding KK Zadar to just 6 points in third quarter. They also forced 20 KK Zadar turnovers and outrebounded them 43-23 including a 22-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Monika Bosilj (178-85, college: FIU) who scored 23 points and 8 rebounds. The former international guard Ivana Jurcevic (174-81) chipped in 17 points. Forward Davorka Balic (188-88) produced 21 points for the hosts. Gospic (16-1) have an impressive series of fifteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place, which they share with Novi Zagreb. KK Zadar at the other side dropped to the fifth position with ten games lost. They share it with Split. Gospic is looking forward to face Ragusa (#9) in Dubrovnik in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KK Zadar will play on the road against the league's second-placed Lupa Promotion (#2) in Novi Zagreb and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
The game in Tresnjevka was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked ZKK Medvescak (12-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Tresnjevka (6-11). ZKK Medvescak defeated Tresnjevka 73-63. Forward Nina Premasunac (186-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds. Iva Borovic contributed with 20 points for the winners. ZKK Medvescak's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Bosnian power forward Ivana Jovanovic (185-85) answered with 17 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for Tresnjevka. ZKK Medvescak maintains fourth place with 12-5 record. Tresnjevka lost their sixth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. ZKK Medvescak will play against Studenac Omis (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tresnjevka will play against ZKK Split and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Sibenik. Local Jolly (14-2) outscored 5th ranked ZKK Split (7-10) 88-45 on Saturday night. Luca Ivankovic stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Josipa Zovko responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Jolly maintains third place with 14-2 record having just three points less than leader Gospic. Loser ZKK Split keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. They share it with Zadar. Jolly will meet Rockwool Pula (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ZKK Split will play against Tresnjevka (#8) and hope to secure a win.

In the last game of round 17 Novi Zagreb crushed Studenec Omis in a road game 94-57.
The best stats of 17th round was 18 points and 10 rebounds by Mirna Mazic of Novi Zagreb.

Tresnjevka - Medvescak 63-73

The game in Tresnjevka was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked ZKK Medvescak (12-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Tresnjevka (6-11). ZKK Medvescak defeated Tresnjevka 73-63. It looked good early as Tresnjevka took an 7-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then ZKK Medvescak had a 31-10 second period charge getting the lead and Tresnjevka was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 63-73. ZKK Medvescak forced 20 Tresnjevka turnovers. Forward Nina Premasunac (186-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Iva Borovic (170-88) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Four ZKK Medvescak players scored in double figures. Studenec Omis - Novi Zagreb 57-94

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Studenac Omis (4-11) were crushed at home by second ranked Lupa Promotion (16-1) 94-57 on Saturday. The game without a history. Lupa Promotion led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Studenac Omis' 26. Lupa Promotion forced 24 Studenac Omis turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Lupa Promotion made 7 blocks. The former international forward Mirna Mazic (188-85, college: Richmond, agency: 1x1 Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and guard Lana Packovski (170-94) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four Lupa Promotion players scored in double figures. Lupa Promotion's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Karla Kalajzic (173-93) responded with 18 points and Maja Jercic (184-83) scored 16 points and 4 steals. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Lupa Promotion. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Gospic. Studenac Omis lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eleventh place with 11 games lost. Lupa Promotion will meet at home KK Zadar (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Studenac Omis will play against ZKK Medvescak (#4) in Zagreb and hope to secure a win.

The game with biggest result difference took place in Sibenik. Local Jolly (14-2) outscored 5th ranked ZKK Split (7-10) 88-45 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Jolly. ZKK Split managed to win fourth quarter 15-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ZKK Split to just 6 points in third quarter. Jolly forced 31 ZKK Split turnovers and outrebounded them 45-29 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by ZKK Split's players. The former international center Luca Ivankovic (207-87) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and international forward Kristina Benic (180-88) chipped in 14 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals.
