Jolly Sibenik improved its score in Group E to 1-1 after beating Energa Torun 74-60. It was a match in which hosts started the game slower than expected, but used the good second half to break it. First quarter was spent in exchanging of baskets with visitors taking one point lead at the end of the period. In the second quarter, Energ Torun maintained its lead but never had more than 4 points. At the halftime, they still held 34-38. Than after the break, Luca Ivankovic (200-C-87) and her teammates started to slowly impose their game. They managed to tie the score and even to take one point lead with 10 minutes left to play. In the final quarter, they went on 11-3 run. This proved to be decisive, as visiting team could not mount a comeback. As result, Sibenik celebrated 14 point margin victory on the night. Luca Ivankovic shined for the hosts registering double-double, 21 points and 12 rebounds. Antonija Misura (177-F-88) had 17, while Marta Cakic (175-G-82) added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. That was the first EuroCup appearance for Energa Torun, who got 13 points from Agata Gajda (174-G-80). Patrycja Gulak-Lipka (193-C-82, college: Massachusetts) and Magdalena Radwan (180-G-82) also had decent game adding 10 points each.

MiZo Pecs finally recorded their first Euroleague win this season. They made a successful trip to Croatia upsetting Gospic. Nicole Ohlde (193-F/C-82, college: Kansas St.) delivered 24 points and 12 boards to pace the Hungarian team. Gospic in the meantime suffered the fourth straight defeat in Group B.

Gospic - MiZo Pecs 68:74 MiZo Pecs finally recorded their first Euroleague win this season. They made a successful trip to Croatia upsetting Gospic. Nicole Ohlde (193-F/C-82, college: Kansas St.) delivered 24 points and 12 boards to pace the Hungarian team. Gospic in the meantime suffered the fourth straight defeat in Group B. Nicole Ohlde scored 13 points in the first frame to pace the visitors. MiZo Pecs ensured a 27:22 lead ten minutes into the battle. However Gospic kept their opponents scoreless for almost six minutes in the second period using it to take a 30:27 lead. Vajda stepped up with five points in a row for MiZo Pecs and Ohlde added some more as the visitors regained control 41:36 at halftime. The teams traded baskets throughout the intense third frame. MiZo Pecs were able to secure a 65:59 advantage into the fourth period. Gospic got as close as two points 68:70 with just under five minutes to go in regulation but could not score a point in the reminder of the contest and had to surrender at the end. Anna Vajda (191-F/C-84) delivered 23 points for the visitors. Ivanyi had 6 points, 13 boards and 10 assists for MiZo Pecs. Anda Jelavic (175-G-80, agency: Data Plus Group) knocked down 20 points to pace Gospic. Carla Thomas (191-F/C-85, agency: LBM Management, college: Vanderbilt) finished with 16 points in the loss.

Olivais managed to beat Medvescak registering the first win in EuroCup 2009/10 season. That was the second round of this prestigious competition and now both teams are on 1-1 score in Group B. Danyel Crutcher (188-F-86, agency: Merit Sports, college: Illinois) was a key player for the hosts netting 21 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. Olivais - Medvescak 67-61
Olivais managed to beat Medvescak registering the first win in EuroCup 2009/10 season. That was the second round of this prestigious competition and now both teams are on 1-1 score in Group B. Danyel Crutcher (188-F-86, agency: Merit Sports, college: Illinois) was a key player for the hosts netting 21 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. Jhasmin Player (178-G-87, college: Baylor) also had very important role scoring 16 points and grabbing 8 rebs. In the loosing squad, Ana Cacic (175-G-86) was better than the others with 17 points. Mirna Mazic (188-F-85, college: Richmond) scored 13. The hosts had impressive second and third quarter and mostly owing to these 20 minutes they celebrated yesterday. After totally leveled 14-14 in the first period, Danyel Crutcher and her teammates took control on their rivals. They were almost unmistakable offensively and did a decent job in defense. That resulted with 37-31 lead at the half time. After the breather, the hosts created crucial 11-2 run for plus 15. That turned out as unreachable for Medvescak for the rest of third period. However, visitors threatened in the last quarter coming to 63-57 with 3:30 to go. Danyel Crutcher responded with a jump shot and Da Silva followed her with a basket stopping Medvescak on their way. In the end it was totally deserved 67-61 win for the Portuguese squad.
