Tresnjevka 2009 is going to add a strong doze of experience in its backcourt, by signing former Olympic athlete Ana Lelas (183-G/F-83). The club also inked junior national team member Josipa Pavic (187-C-99) and Montenegrin Marija Vujadinovic (175-G-90).
Ana Lelas (183-G/F-83) last season started with Spanish side Parfumeras Avenida and in January moved to UNIQA Euroleasing Sopron, where she averaged 7.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.1 blocks in 13 Hungarian A Division games, helped the club win Championship title. She also posted 10.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 0.6 assists and 1.0 steals per game in five Euroleague appearnces.
Lelas grew up with Split and returned to Croatia after more than 10 years after playing for Aix en Provence, Mourenx, Bourges and Montpellier in France, Celta Vigo in Spain and Mersin and Osmaniye Genclik in Turkey. Lelas was a member of the Croatian National Team at the Olympic Games in London 2012.
Josipa Pavic (187-C-99) arrives from Split, for whom she averaged 11.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.1 assisst, 0.9 steals and 0.4 blocks in 14 Croatian A1 League games last season. Pavic spent the summer representing the Croatian U18 national team at European Junior Championship in Hungary, where she posted 8.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.3 steals in seven games
Marija Vujadinovic (175-G-90) arrives from Serbian side Vojvodina, where she spent last two season. In the latest one, Vujadinovic averaged 3.4 points, 1.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 0.7 blocks in 18 Serbian League games.Vujadinovic has already played for Herceg Novi, Buducnost, Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje and Primorje in her native Montenegro. She was a member of both U18 and 20 Montengrin national team at European Championship.
