Zabok-Kvarner 2010 85-83: Zabok never trailed and almost blew a 17-point lead. The home team close out the first quarter with a 23-9 run to take a 34-17 lead. Kvarner cut the deficit to 44-49 at the halftime break, but again trailed by double digits, 52-66 late in the third quarter. The vistiors used a 14-3 run to tie the game at 83-83 with 52 seconds to go. Zabok's Antonio Crnjevic (201-F-94) missed a pair of free throws, but Filip Palac (194-SG-95) grabbed an offensive rebound. Marin Zrnic (201-F-88) missed a jumper and Filip Palac (194-SG-95) once again grabbed an offensive rebound and hit a game-winning basket with just three seconds left. Kvarner called a time-out to set up a play for their final possession and Mauro Veljacic (183-PG-93) missed potential game-winning 3-pointer. Hrvoje Puljko (193-G-83) scored 20 points for Zabok, Imran Polutak (209-C-96) 14 and Marin Zrnic (201-F-88) 12. Kvarner had five players in double figures. Mauro Veljacic (183-PG-93) poured in game-high 24 points, Mate Vucic (203-F/C-97) scored 14 points, Dino Butorac (191-G-90) and Andrej Stimac (204-F/C-79) both added 11 points and Ivan Milicevic (204-F-95) 10.

Alkar-Vrijednosnice Osijek 54-87: The game featured just one lead change, midway through the first quarter. Osijek made a 10-0 run to turn a five-point deficit into a 15-10 lead and later extended their advantage to 26-14. The home team three times cut the deficit under double-digits before Osijek scored 13 concecutive points for a 45-24 advantage late in the second quarter. Aljosa Sarac (190-G-89) finished with 21 points on shooting 5-of-7 behind the 3-point line, Filip Krajina had 14 points and 11 rebounds and Luka Katura added 10 points. Alkar was led by Domagoj Vrkic with 16 points and Hrvoje Vucic scored 14.

Jolly JBS-Zagreb 96-79:
Jolly used an early 7-0 run to go up 15-9 and never trailed from they. The home team took full control ofthe game behind a 16-2 for a 37-21 lead and had their largest advantage at 52-29 before the halftime break. Ivan Novacic (201-F-85,) scored 31 points on shooting 12-of-16 from the field, grabbed 10 rebounds and had 5 assists, Mike Scott posted 13 points and Nikola Dosen 11. Zagreb had 22 turnovers. Luka Bozic and Pavle Marcinkovic both scored 22 points and Antonion Vlaic 12.

GKK Sibenik-Hermes Analitica 93-75: In a game that featured eight lead changes and ten ties, Sibenik overcam deficit of eleven points. Hermes used a 10-0 run to build a 29-18 lead, but Sibenik immediately responded with dozen consecutive points to go up 30-29. After trailing 48-50 midway through the third quarter, the home team went on a decisive 17-4 run, including 11 unanswered points to take a 65-54 lead.Sibenik had six players in double figures including all five starters. Roko Badzim (197-G-97) scored 23 points on shooting 8-of-9 from the field including 5-of-5 behind the arc, Ive Ivanov added 20 points, Miralem Halilovic 16, Teo Petani had 11 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds, Domagoj Basic posted 11 points and Ivan Siriscevic 10. Hermes' Ivan Svoboda came off the bench for a game-high 29 points, Domagoj Samac scored 22 points and Julijan Rajic 11.

Cibona-Skrljevo 98-71: Cibona made a 22-7 run spanning to turn a four-point lead into a 42-23 advantage. Skrljevo opened the second half with 19 consecutive points to tie the game at 52 and later took a 57-56 lead. Cibona closed out the third quarter with an 8-2 for a 64-59 lead and outscored Skrljevo 34-12 in the final period. Domagoj Bosnjak (201-F/G-95) scored 23 points, Zeljko Sakic (204-F-88) 21, both off the bench, and Nik Slavica just missed a double-double with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Skrljevo was outrebounded 19-45. Antonio Boban finished with 19 points, Brian Williams scored 15, Sinisa Stemberger and Davor Konjevic added 11 points apiece.

KK Cedevita Zagreb (A1) to sign 32-year old American power forward Chris Johnson (210-107kg-85, college: LSU) who plays at Anhui Wenyi in China. In 18 NBL games he had very impressive stats: 33.4ppg, 18.8rpg, 1.9apg, 1.8spg and 1.9bpg last season. Ribola Kastela added another piece to its backcourt ahead of its return to the Croatian Premijer League by signing a one-year deal with its former member Roko Galic(197-F-97). Galic arrives from the local rival Split, where he averaged 1.8 points, 0.2 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 0.3 steals in just 10 Croatian A1 League games last season. Zabok strenghetend its roster for the coming season by inking their former members Antonio Vlaic (205-C-91) and Ivan Vucic (197-F/G-96). The club also have revealed that American Jeremy Bynum(193-G-88, college: Jacksonville St.) join on a trial. Vlaic arrives from Zagreb, where he spent last two seasons.
