The game between second ranked Jolly (15-4) and ninth ranked KK Zabok (7-11) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Jolly was defeated by KK Zabok in Zabok 98-85. The game was mostly controlled by KK Zabok. Jolly managed to win second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KK Zabok looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for guard Hrvoje Puljko (193-83, agency: Mansfield and Associates) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 6 assists. Forward Marin Zrnic (201-88) helped adding 19 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). KK Zabok's coach Dragutin Crnjevic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side the former international forward Ivan Novacic (201-85, agency: XL Basketball Agency) responded with 21 points and 9 rebounds. KK Zabok have a solid series of three victories in a row. KK Zabok maintains ninth place with 7-11 record. Jolly at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. They share it with GKK Sibenik. KK Zabok is looking forward to face higher ranked KK Zadar (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Jolly will play against Cibona (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

It was a quality performance for forward Henrik Sirko (201-93, agency: XL Basketball Agency) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. Damir Rancic accounted for 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws). Guard Jakov Mustapic (193-94) came up with 18 points for KK Vrijednosnice Osijek in the defeat. KK Split maintains first place with 16-3 record. KK Vrijednosnice Osijek at the other side keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. KK Split will play against Gorica (#12) in Velika Gorica in the next round which should be an easy win for them. KK Vrijednosnice Osijek will play at home against H.Analitica (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
A very close game took place in Sinj between Alkar Sinj and KK Skrljevo. Eleventh ranked Alkar Sinj (5-14) got a very close home victory over 10th ranked KK Skrljevo (6-13). Alkar Sinj managed to escape with a 2-point win 75-73 on Saturday evening. Hrvoje Vucic fired 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Brian Williams produced 23 points, 7 assists and 4 steals for lost side. Alkar Sinj maintains eleventh place with 5-14 record. Loser KK Skrljevo keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. Alkar Sinj will meet bottom-ranked Kvarner (#14) in the next round. KK Skrljevo will play against GKK Sibenik (#3) having rather not much hope for a victory.
Fifth ranked Cedevita (13-5) crushed at home 14th ranked Kvarner (2-17) by 32 points 75-43, which is the biggest margin this round. Worth to mention a great performance of Dzanan Musa who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains fifth place with 13-5 record. Kvarner lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. Cedevita's next round opponent will be Gorica (#12) in Velika Gorica and are hoping to win another game. Kvarner will play at home against Alkar Sinj and hope to win that game.

In the last two games of round 19 Gorica was destroyed by GKK Sibenik on the opponent's court 100-75. H.Analitica was outscored by Zadar in a home game 73-96.

Alkar Sinj - Skrljevo 75-73

A very close game took place in Sinj between Alkar Sinj and KK Skrljevo. Eleventh ranked Alkar Sinj (5-14) got a very close home victory over 10th ranked KK Skrljevo (6-13). Alkar Sinj managed to escape with a 2-point win 75-73 on Saturday evening. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 21-13. But KK Skrljevo won second period 16-11. KK Vrijednosnice Osijek was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. KK Split made 22-of-24 charity shots (91.7 percent) during the game. KK Vrijednosnice Osijek was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Very expected game when 12th ranked Gorica (3-14) was crushed on the road by fourth ranked GKK Sibenik (15-4) 100-75. The game without a history. GKK Sibenik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-23 charity shots (87.0 percent) during the game. GKK Sibenik outrebounded Gorica 35-21 including 23 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Gorica's players. GKK Sibenik brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian forward Miralem Halilovic (205-91) who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. KK Zadar had a 31-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. KK Zadar brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Zadar rolled to its seventh straight win with a 90-80 victory over Cibona in Croatian A1 League Round 22. Gorica defetaed Vrijednosnice Osijek 80-64 to move out of the relegation zone.
