Anja Majstorovic (184-SF-94) had a great game in the last round for league's leader Medvescak and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 19.
The 22-year old had the game-high 25 points adding three rebounds and four assists for Medvescak in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Pula C.Tours (#5, 10-8) with 53-point margin 110-57. It allowed Medvescak to consolidate first place in the Croatian A1. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is already in a full swing and Medvescak still have not lost a single game, getting all 18 victories. In the team's last game Majstorovic had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Medvescak, through which she has constantly improved. Majstorovic has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (6th best: 19.0ppg) and averages solid 62.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young guard Karla Erjavec (172-G-99) of second-ranked Tresnjevka. Erjavec impressed basketball fans with 29 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists. It was enough for Tresnjevka to edge the lower-ranked Sibenik (#9, 5-13) by 3 points 78-75. Tresnjevka's second position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost just two games this season, while they won 17 matches. Erjavec is one of the most experienced players at Tresnjevka and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Nadia Hadnadj Vidakovic of Croatia 2006 (#11). Vidakovic scored 22 points and grabbed six rebounds. Despite Vidakovic's great performance Croatia 2006 lost 53-55 to the higher-ranked Split (#8, 6-12). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Croatia 2006 can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-17 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Too bad for Vidakovic she does not play for a better team. But maybe if she did, her season stats would not be that high. Vidakovic has a very solid season. In 15 games in Croatia she scored 14.4ppg. She also has 6.9rpg and FGP: 52.6%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Klaudija Perisa (180-SG-96) of Sibenik - 26 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists
5. Marta Erslan (178-SF-96) of Ragusa - 3 points, 20 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Sanda Tosic (176-G/F-86) of Sibenik - 9 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists
7. Ana Petrak (163-G-98) of Medvescak - 10 points and 10 assists
8. Iva Borovic (170-G-88) of Medvescak - 23 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Marija Rados (180-C-93) of Medvescak - 16 points and 5 rebounds
10. Lea Miletic (183-F-95) of Pula C.Tours - 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
