Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Croatians who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is former U18 international center Andrea Maric (195-97, currently plays in Slovenia). She led Athlete Celje to a victory over the fifth-ranked Maribor (3-13) crushing them 94-43 in the Slovenian SKL in Monday night's game. Maric was MVP of the game. She recorded 25 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 27 minutes on the court. ZKK Athlete Celje (15-1) is placed first in Places 1-6 group. It was her team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. Maric has relatively good stats this year: 10.8ppg, 8.2rpg, 1.1apg, 2FGP: 52.8% and FT: 84.6% in 19 games she played so far. She played for the Croatian U18 national team three years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to U20 international shooting guard Iva Slonjsak (183-97, currently plays in Slovenia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Andrea Maric. But that was another game of her team in Slovenian SKL which we would like to mention. Slonjsak was the main contributor in a Athlete Celje's victory against the fourth-ranked Konjice (4-13) crushing them 96-40. She was the best player in that game. Slonjsak scored 25 points, had 5 boards, dished 3 assists and stole 4 balls. ZKK Athlete Celje (15-1) is placed first in Places 1-6 group. It was her team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. Slonjsak has individually a very good season with high stats. She averages: 15.7ppg, 5.5rpg, 3.4apg, 1.7spg, 2FGP: 62.3%(86-138), 3FGP: 49.4%(42-85) and FT: 86.1%. Slonjsak is in the roster of the Croatian U20 national team.

Ivana Tikvic

   #3. The Croatian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Ivana Tikvic (189-94, currently plays in Italy). She could not help one of league's weakest teams Torino (6-16) in their last game. Despite Tikvic's very good performance Torino was edged 69-66 on the road by the higher-ranked (#8) Vigarano. She had a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 14 rebounds. Tikvic also added 2 blocks in 28 minutes. It's Tikvic's first season with the team. This year she has relatively solid stats: 10.6ppg, 8.4rpg, 1.2bpg, 2.1spg, 2FGP: 52.3% and FT: 62.2% in 24 games. Tikvic is also a member of the Croatian senior national team.

Carmen Miloglav

   #4. Guard Carmen Miloglav (170-91, agency: ProDep Management, college: FIU, currently plays in Spain) managed to help Perfumerias Avenida Salamanca to win against the league outsider Gran Canaria (5-21) crushing them 96-48 in the Spanish LFB in Saturday night's game. She scored 5 points and had 3 steals. Perfumerias Avenida Salamanca (25-1) is placed first in the LFB. It was her team's 20th consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. This season Miloglav averages only 1.3ppg. She used to play for the Croatian national team back in 2015.

   #5. International shooting guard Ivana Dojkic (180-97, currently plays in Russia) was not able to help Spartak Vidnoye (7-13) in their last game. Despite Dojkic's very good performance Spartak Vidnoye lost 55-63 on the opponent's court to the higher-ranked (#4) Vologda-Chevakata. She was the second best scorer with 15 points. Dojkic also added 4 rebounds in 32 minutes. This year Dojkic's overall stats are: 9.1ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.6apg and 1.9spg in 23 games. She plays currently for the Croatian national team.

   #6. Center Josipa Bura (186-85, currently plays in Czech Republic) contributed to a 2-point Sokol Hradec Kralove's victory against the second-ranked Valosun Brno (16-6) 76-74 in the Czech Republic ZBL on Wednesday night. Bura recorded 5 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Sokol ZVUS Hradec Kralove (17-5) is placed sixth in Play-Offs group. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. Bura's total stats this season are: 7.2ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.5apg and 1.4spg. She is a former international player as she played for the Croatian senior team eight years ago.

   #7. International guard Shavonte Zellous (178-86, college: Pittsburgh, currently plays in Turkey) was not able to secure a victory for Besiktas (19-5) in their game against Yakin Dogu BGD (19-5) in the Turkish KBSL. Zellous scored 5 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 10 assists in 40 minutes. Besiktas lost 65-70 in a derby game to the leading Yakin Dogu BGD. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Zellous has very impressive stats this year: 17.8ppg, 6.0rpg and 3.7apg in 24 games. She is a naturalized American. Zellous is also Croatian national team player. Strangely she has never played in Croatia.

Emilija Podrug

   #8. An experienced center Emilija Podrug (190-79, currently plays in France) was the major contributor in Toulouse's victory against one of league's weakest teams Roannais (6-18) 60-49 in the French LF2 (second division) last Saturday. Podrug scored 14 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists. Toulouse Metropole Basket (15-4) is placed third in the LF2. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Podrug has reliable stats this season: 11.1ppg, 5.8rpg and 3.7apg. She used to play for the Croatian national team back in 2010.

   #9. Former U18 international guard Martina Tomic (176-92, currently plays in Slovenia) couldn't help Janina (2-14) in their last game. Despite Tomic's very good performance the sixth-placed Janina (2-14) lost 61-72 at home to the higher-ranked (#3) Ilrija in the Places 1-6 group. She was the top scorer with 19 points. Tomic also added 6 rebounds in 35 minutes. It was Janina's third consecutive loss in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be extremely important. Tomic has very impressive stats this year: 15.6ppg, 3.9rpg and 1.5spg in 21 games. She used to play for the Croatian U18 national team seven years ago.

   #10. Center Jovana Mandic (193-92, also represented by ProDep Management, college: Nicholls St., currently plays in Spain) contributed to ADBA's surprising victory against the fifth-ranked Oviedo (19-11) 76-72 in the Spanish LF2 (second division) last Saturday. Mandic recorded 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 38 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only her third season in pro basketball. ASAC Comunicaciones Adba Aviles (8-17) is placed 13th in Group A. Mandic's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. Mandic's stats this year are: 11.5ppg and 6.9rpg in 22 games. She is a former U18 international player as seven years ago she still played for the Croatian national team.

   #11. International center Luca Ivankovic (201-87, currently plays in Turkey) couldn't help Botas in their game against Abdullah Gul in the Turkish KBSL. Ivankovic scored 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Her team was crushed by 24 points 77-53. Ivankovic's total stats this season are: 4.7ppg and 5.4rpg. She plays currently for the Croatian national team.

   #12. International forward Antonija Sandric (181-88, agency: 1x1 Sports, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Gernika in their game against Universitario de Ferrol in the Spanish LFB. Sandric scored 5 points in 23 minutes. Her team lost 50-56. Sandric averaged so far 10.6ppg, 2.1rpg, 1.5apg and 1.2spg in 13 games. She is also in the roster of the Croatian national team.

   #13. Former international power forward Ivona Matic (189-86, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Bolzano (6-2) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Matic's good performance Bolzano (#3) was edged 68-65 on their home court in Bolzano by the much lower-ranked Carugate (#11) in the Group A. She scored 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Matic averaged so far 12.1ppg, 10.0rpg, 1.1apg and 2.7spg. She used to play for the Croatian national team nine years ago.

   #14. International center Marija Rezan (198-89, currently plays in Poland) contributed to a 2-point CCC Polkowice's victory against the league leader Sleza Wroclaw 66-64 in the Polish TBLK on Saturday night. Rezan recorded only 2 points in 20 minutes. This year Rezan's total stats are: 8.7ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.3bpg in 29 games. She plays currently for the Croatian national team.

   #15. International center Ana-Marija Begic (190-94, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a Campus Promete's victory against the 11th-ranked Mann Filter 68-59 in the Spanish LFB in Saturday night's game. Begic scored only 4 points. Begic has averaged so far 3.0ppg and 2.9rpg. She is also in the roster of the Croatian national team.


The list of other players, who all have Croatian passport but never been selected to any of Croatian national teams:

   #1. Dubravka Dacic (201-C-85, agency: ProDep Management, currently plays in Turkey) could not help Osmaniye (4-19) in their last game on Monday. Despite Dacic's good performance the bottom-ranked Osmaniye was defeated 65-57 on the road by the much higher-ranked Hatay (#6). She was the second best scorer with 14 points. Dacic also added 8 rebounds. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. Dacic averaged so far 13.0ppg and 9.3rpg. She has a dual citizenship: Croatian and Italian.

   #2. Experienced Iva Serdar (195-C-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza, currently plays in Slovenia) was not able to help Janina in their game against Ilrija (11-6) in the Slovenian SKL. Serdar scored only 4 points, had 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Janina (#6) was defeated 72-61 at home by the higher-ranked Ilrija (#3) in the Places 1-6 group. It was Janina's third consecutive loss in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Second Stage. Serdar has averaged so far 8.7ppg and 7.4rpg.

   #3. Iva Bosnjak (174-G/F-1, currently plays in Switzerland) was not able to secure a victory for Winterthur (0-4) in their game against Fribourg (19-4) in the Swiss LNA. She cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. Bosnjak scored only 3 points. Winterthur (#5) was defeated 77-69 on their home court in Winterthur by the leading Fribourg in the Places 1-5 group. So far Winterthur lost all four games in the Second Stage. The Second Stage already ended. Bosnjak has averaged so far 2.5ppg and 1.6rpg.

Zadar dominate the boards to beat Brod na Savi - 7 hours ago
Zadar outrebounded Brod 67-34, including 28-2 on the offensive boards and beat the home team 59-51 in Prva liga Round 4. Sibenik-Pula Crnja Tours 70-78: After leading by three points midway through the second quarter, Pula used a 12-2 run to extend their advantage to 44-31. Sibenik tied the score at 50-50 and later went on a 12-1 run to go up 62-57 going into the fourth quarter. Center Patricija Bura (188-C-96) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked Medvescak, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3. The 21-year old player had a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds, while her team crushed Ragusa (#6, 1-1) with 17-point margin 76-59.
