AKK Vern, Jazine Arbanasi, Ribola Kastela and Podravac continued their battle for promotion in Croatian A1 League. All four teams recorded victories in Round 7 Croatian A2 League Championship Stage.

Jazine Arbanasi-Graficar 108-80: Jazine took control behind a 18-4 run for a 26-11 lead in the opening quarter. The home team lead 67-31 at the halftime break and had their largest lead of the night at 102-51 early in the fourth quarter. Jazine had all five starters in double scoring figures. Jurica Drazovic (201-F-86) collected 30 points and 11 rebounds, Mate Mrva (198-F/C-83) added 22 points, Goran Fodor (195-G-90) netted 17 points without a miss, Josip Gulam (188-PG-95) had 15 points and 7 assists and Dino Palcic (185-G-90) poured in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Jazine shot 58-percent (14-of-24) behind the 3-point line, while Graficar sank only three 3-pointers. Kristijan Samarija (202-C-83) finished with 22 points and Manuel Novak (90) added 17.

Ribola Kastela-Rudes 81-62: Kastela scored seven straight points to go up 11-7 and later went on a 26-6 run for a 41-18 lead late in the second quarter. Stipe Rezic (201-G/F-89) scored 16 points, Frano Marasovic (214-C-92) 12 and Dino Sipic (201-F-88) 10, Josip Glavinic (192-G-82) grabbed 12 rebounds. Rudes was led by Marko Juric (187-G-99) with 13 points and Tomislav Cvitkovic (206-SG-98) added 12.

Sanac-Podravac 62-83: An injury-plagued Sanac opened the game with a 12-3 run, but the visitors responded with a 14-2 run to go up 17-14. Sanac re-take the lead at 35-32. At that point, Podravac went on an 8-0 run to close out the first half time with a 40-35 advantage and never looked back from there. Sanac was still down by five early in the fourt quarter, before Podravac made a 23-7 run in the final eight minutes. Stefan Zadravec (186-PG-92) scored 33 points on shooting 15-of-21 from the field, Ivan Siprak (200-F-77) had 21 points and 10 rebounds and Alen Kendjelic (194-G-88) posted 10 points. Podravac commited just 9 turnovers to Sanac's 17. Dominic Gilbert (198-G/F-96, college: UBC) led the home team with 20 points and was a rebound shy of a double-double and Dario Gazic (200-G/F-78) had 13 points and 9 rebounds.

AKK Vern-Borovo 124-76:
After trailing 27-30 early in the second quarter, Vern scored eleven straight points to ignite a 16-2 run for a 43-32 lead. The home team outscored Borovo 62-25 in the second half. Vern used 11 players and all of them scored. Marko Bakovic (202-PF-93) finished with 26 points and 11 rebounds, Luka Zivko (202-C/F-96) scored 22 points, Filip Kordic (196-SG-92) added 15, Matej Kljajic had 14 points and 9 assists, Ivan Penic (202-F-89) netted 13 points and Leon Abramovic 10. Vern shot 62-percent (46-of-74) from the field. Toni Kovac (97) led the visitors with 24 points, Mihael Bekavac (193-F-85) added 19, Srdjan Brocic (99) 14 and Mario Rajsic (94) 12.

Pula 1981-Borovo 96-75: Pula trailed by 11 in the second quarter and was behind 52-53 midway through the third quarter. At that point, Pula made a 13-5 run to go up 65-58 and early in the fourth quarter went on a 15-4 run to extend their lead to 89-71. Ante Bozic (208-F/C-90, college: SW Oklahoma St.) scored 28 points, Dino Rakic (200-F-94) 21, Nino Dasko had 14 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds and Marin Djugum added 14 points. Borovo was led by Antonio Bicvic (196-F-82) with 17 points, Marko Soldo (198-G-89) and Kristijan Preglej (206-C/F-79) both added 16 points and Juraj Boras (191-G-91) had 13 points and 11 assists.

Skrljevo announced the signig of American Jaron Nash for the coming season. Nash arrives from Argentinian side Atletico Echague Parana, where he averaged 4.5 points, 1.9 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.3 steals and 0.6 blocks in 18 TNA League games last season. Nash played college basketball at Texax Tech and North Dakota from 2011 to 2015. In his last NCAA' season, 2014-15, Nash averaged 12.4 points and 6.3 rebounds in 29 games with North Dakota. Panevezys Lietkabelis (LKL) is close to ink 29-year old Croatian international guard Ante Delas (200-88) who played last time at BCC Corvengenze Agropoli in Italy. Delas managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 11 Serie A2 games he averaged 11.0ppg, 4.2rpg, 1.9apg and 1.4spg. GKK Sibenik made their first addition for the upcoming season by signing Toni Vitali(203-F-91) on a one-year deal. Vitali arrives from Zagreb, where he averaged 9.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.8 blocks in 28 Croatian A1 League games last season.
